Despite the heavy cross the visionaries carry, they always show joy on their faces…

Our Lady of Medjugorje said on November 29, 1984:
The cross is always an incentive to pray, and it is often the time that we pray the most. But, Our Lady tells us not to pray because of that fact alone, but to pray out of love. The visionaries of Medjugorje have been witnesses of this. Despite the heavy cross the visionaries carry, they always show joy on their faces, as Mirjana does this morning, July 2, 2015, greeting pilgrims as she makes her way to the Blue Cross for her apparitions. A Friend of Medjugorje states:
“If you go back and read [Our Lady’s] messages, you will see that when She mentions the past or the future She points us to ‘joy’. Joy is a ‘present tense’ word. We are to live ‘joy’ ‘today.’ Our past sinful lives can rob us of the joy God wants our hearts to be filled with today. Our fear of the future can do the same. Our Lady wants both our ‘today’ and our ‘future’ to be filled with joy and has come to teach us how that can happen in our lives. We must follow and listen to Her, believe in Her words, obey them and wait for them to transform our lives.”
It is important to stay connected to Our Lady and Her messages to find your direction in life.
