Friday, September 1, 2017 A.D.
It was a beautiful evening in Medjugorje tonight. The pilgrims who came up Apparition Mountain earlier were treated to a beautiful sunset. As evening turned into night, the moon shown brightly down upon all those present for the apparition. Up to the moment of the apparition, pilgrims continued to come and find their own little spot in preparation for Our Lady coming. By the time Our Lady appeared, the mountain was covered with pilgrims, praying. After singing and praying the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary, Our Lady appeared to Ivan at around 10:00 p.m. The apparition lasted a little over 8 minutes. The following is Ivan’s description of the apparition:
Also today, as every day after the meeting together with Our Lady, I would like to briefly describe also to you tonight’s meeting. Also today Our Lady came to us joyful and happy and She greeted all of us, at the beginning, with Her motherly greeting, ‘Praised be Jesus my dear children.’ Then, for a longer while, Our Lady, with Her arms extended, prayed here over all of us. She also prayed over all of you who are sick present here. Then She said:
Then Our Lady blessed all of us with Her motherly blessing, and She also blessed everything you brought to be blessed. Then I recommended all of you, your needs, your intentions, and your families and in a special way, all of the sick. After that, for awhile, Our Lady continued to pray over all of us, and She left in that prayer, in an illuminated Sign of the Cross, with a greeting, “Go in peace my dear children.”

Sunset on Apparition Mountain, Friday, September 1, 2017
As the sun slowly set tonight on top of Apparition Mountain, the colors of sunset grew much more vibrant, almost as if the sky was on fire. Through Our Lady’s apparitions, the ways of the present world are heading towards a sunset, and in their evening, the light of Our Lady is lighting up the world. The events of the day speak to us of this battle between the ways of the world which are leaving and the new world, which is being ushered in by Our Lady. It is important to continue to pray for Our Lady’s intentions everyday, to make Her intentions the most important intention of your day. She is the future, Her messages are the future. Her intentions are your future.
