“My Intentions”, What Does it Mean?

“My Intentions”, What Does it Mean?

May 21, 2019 A.D.

Our Lady said through Ivan, during the prayer group meeting at the Blue Cross on Friday May 17, 2019:

“…pray for my intentions, for my plans which I desire to realize by my coming…”

Medjugorje is, for Our Lady, realizing a desire of Her heart. Do we understand what “my intentions” means?

Moon Rise over Apparition Mountain, Medjugorje, Friday May 17, 2019 – Just 3 hours before Our Lady appeared to Medjugorje visionary Ivan. What does Our Lady think when She comes to this place? What must be in Her heart when She descends from Heaven to bless the world?

Do we understand what it means that Our Lady says She has intentions? That She has plans to realize through Medjugorje? Many miss this understanding of Medjugorje and think Our Lady is appearing for another Lourdes, Guadalupe or Fatima. Last year, a Friend of Medjugorje made a very poignant and truthful statement which was never stated by anyone before:

“The world, for now, does not want to realize Our Lady’s words because it calls for a radical change from the world’s direction, and is frightening for the world. Do you have the strength to realize what Our Lady is saying in Her messages?

January 25, 1995

“…Pray to have strength to realize what I am telling you…”

If Our Lady’s messages are dismissible because there are so many, and they are too “plain,” why do you need strength just to realize what She is saying? Do you realize what Our Lady is here for? This Woman of the Bible is here to crush the head of the serpent. Genesis 3:15 comes into being—Her time—is in your time! The words of Our Lady, the message, is of greatness because of the power within them to transform the whole world. They cannot be viewed simply as private revelation. They hold a uniqueness to educate a world that has become Biblically illiterate through modernism, and thereby, no longer understands the Bible.”

from Never in History

Many people throughout the world immediately understood these words, accepted them and made them part of their philosophy. As for the others, they will accept them, because what a Friend of Medjugorje said above, will take place. Praying for Our Lady’s intentions is not just a “cute” little thing to do, just another intention added to a laundry list of intentions. It is a serious call to accept, embrace and never let a moment go by without remembering Her intentions in our prayers, because Our Lady’s intention, is to change the world.

Caritas exists for Our Lady’s intentions. When reading this Friday’s message through Ivan, we were reminded of the special meaning that Our Lady’s intentions have for us as a mission and community, because of an apparition which took place in the home of our founder and his wife on January 18, 1988, their wedding anniversary. This short read will tell more about this special meaning of praying for Our Lady’s intentions.

  1. I pray every day for Her intensions and plans with complete understanding that we are praying for something beyond our understanding. But, I have also found solace in surrendering my concerns and petitions to Her, praying Her intentions and God’s will for each and every concern I have. She is Our Mother who knows best. I just pray that someday I will become the person She needs me to be.
