What we began last week, and what we will be continuing this week and beyond, is to show you the behind-the-scenes of the work of the Caritas Community being done in preparing The Tabernacle of Our Lady’s Messages. This is not only to ready it for the apparitions of Our Lady, March 19-23, 2011, but in preparing the mission for spreading the messages of Medjugorje with greater capability than ever before through the efforts of retooling all the equipment throughout the various departments of Caritas of Birmingham.
Because of the great demand of Caritas materials, with the brochures for Our Lady of Medjugorje’s apparitions at Caritas, March 19-23, the 54-Day Rosary Novena booklets in preparation for the March apparitions, the continued demand for “It Ain’t Gonna Happen,” among hundreds of other items, we did not want to dismantle Our Lady’s press until we absolutely had to. However, after the new addition was completed, it was time to move the rest of the equipment, and in particular, the printing press in which millions of copies of Our Lady’s messages from Medjugorje have been printed. Our Lady’s statue stands above the press, watching over all the “Medjugorje message” material flowing out, destined to go across the world. She would have to be moved temporarily until returned to Her place of honor amidst all the new equipment from the retooling that will help to spread Her messages of peace, prayer, conversion and sacrifice across the earth. This means that more marriages will find healing, more families will experience holiness as a way of life, more children will be raised in the faith, more people will overcome their vices, more love will enter the world, and more souls will be won for Heaven. This is Medjugorje, and this is the purpose of the Tabernacle of Our Lady’s Messages.
As the first stage of the bottom floor was being completed, preparation began on the second floor shipping area. We were in a race against time in inserting and mailing flyers about Our Lady of Medjugorje’s apparitions in March to our general list. This is a list of more than 120,000 households that are contacted for important events regarding Medjugorje, such as Our Lady’s apparitions at Caritas. There were over 50,000 left to insert and mail at the time that the floor crew was ready to begin removing the equipment. That meant more all nighters to finish the job so that the mailing could go out immediately. It was beautiful to us that the very last thing we did before having to temporarily dismantle the last remaining equipment in our shipping and printing departments was to mail out the announcements of Our Lady of Medjugorje’s apparitions at Caritas, March 19-23, with the beautiful picture of Our Lady’s face.
