The Moon Rises the Evening of Palm Sunday in Medjugorje, March 28, 2010

In the parish cemetery of Medjugorje, just behind St. James Church, an almost full moon rose to cast a bright light over the village. As we enter Holy Week and look towards the coming of Easter, we are reminded of Our Lady’s words given at the beginning of Lent:

February 25, 2010

“In this time of grace, when nature also prepares to give the most beautiful colors of the year, I call you, little children, to open your hearts to God the Creator for Him to transform and mold you in His image, so that all the good which has fallen asleep in your hearts may awaken to a new life…”

As we wait for the Resurrection of Our Lord, we ask Our Lady this week, to help our hearts to awaken to the grace of new life in our own lives.

  1. Love Song 1, is it available for download? And there have been many other songs that I have enjoyed in the Radio Wave programs. Thank you to everyone who works to put together the website and Radio Wave programs. They have been of such value to me. God Bless!

  2. An exceptional show. On March 16th 1939 Great Britain and France failed to confront Hitler when he invaded Czechoslovakia and as a result Hitler was emboldened. The German army was ready to retreat if we reacted, but we didn’t, so, he pushed into Poland and the rest is history. Now, united with Christ, IS the time to fight the wicked tide of secularism that is sweeping the world. In the UK last week a judge ruled that prayers could not be on the agenda for council meetings. Either we fight for our faith and religious freedoms or we will be overrun – there is no alternative.

  3. The image is so beautiful. The colours are amazing the pink in the clouds and the blue sky and the moon is such a great represents Our Lady always wanting us to have our hearts open in the sky and willing to see God’s love through his awesome glory in the sky. I am so amazed how a picture can bring so much thought to our minds. I am excited for this Easter and I am enjoying being a Catholic Christian in this time 2010. I converted and confirmed in April 2004 and I am so glad to I have Our Lady.

  8. I would like to send a compliment and thank you to your photographer. I’ve been meaning to for a long time. (S)He has a wonderful gift. As to this photo, I have never before seen a picture of a cemetery that I thought was simply a beautiful picture. Now I have.

  10. These photographs are graced with such supernatural beauty. THIS one that could be a painting. Thank you for this. I am there in that quiet place- grateful to God for my Catholic faith – praying for strength to carry my cross and to walk with Him during these days. Let us pray especially for our Holy Father who is walking the way of the cross with Our Lord during this Holy Week.

  11. “In this Time of Grace” the NOW-Present finally clicked in my head, Our Lady speaks in the immediate moment of living not yesterday or tomorrow. The day to day updates (widget) is such a Blessing to all world-wide.
