The Medjugorje.com with fireworks, was last seen at the end of the Mej plea 2017, for Mej v3.0. During that plea, for every $18,000 raised, a new letter of Medjugorje.com was lifted by the crane into place. People from all over the world watched with anticipation as each new letter went up, one by one. You can see the original image and the goal raised of over $260,000 here.
by a Friend of Medjugorje
We have reached the $75,000 goal for the Mej 4.0 plea 2021!
As your donations were coming in and we were creeping towards the $75,000 goal, another generous individual felt called to give $10,000 to put us over the top!
The total raised was $79,489.
Thank you from Our Lady, to all who helped make this happen.
This is a big burden removed from our shoulders. As we have said many times before, we do not want to be in the business of raising money, but to keep Caritas’ website, printing shop, and many other projects and operations for the largest Medjugorje center in the world, it will always require donations. The positive side is that we have a community of missionaries dedicating their lives, of which help Caritas operate efficiently, and making a dollar go 10-20 times over a dollar. Not having done a plea for Mej since 2017, we had sustained much of this work through how we have managed the funds. Reaching this goal helps us to start fresh, anew, and renewed.
We know that during this plea, many of you gave from your need. Thank you!
From those who gave the $15,000 and $10,000 donations, to those who could only afford to give $5, you are in our daily prayers, and you will be rewarded by Heaven for supporting the most important plan of God since the death of the last Apostle.
The new Mej v4.0, though still being refined, is to help the masses – hundred of millions of people in the future, who will look to us to give them the discernment necessary to help them through the time of the release of the secrets of Medjugorje.
This is a time that Our Lady has said, recently:
August 25, 2021
“It is time…”
You have been a vital part of this work and we thank you!
Part of this recent work on the new Mej v4.0, was to not only to fix technical issues, but to also decrease the operating cost of the site. One individual wrote to us:
July 23, 2021
“We are fortunate that it [the site] costs so little. I work in the computer industry, and just the outside full time hired developer work typically goes upwards of ten times the amount shown here. Again, we are blessed that the overhead to set up and run this site is so little. Thanks for all the great work you do!”
Again, because of how Caritas is structured, we eliminate a vast amount of the cost. Following is an example of how much we save through our own labor.
A network administrator, to keep our computer systems running, would cost us, anywhere from $45,000 a year, to $115,000 a year.
A website administrator, to operate and update Mej, and the online store, would cost us anywhere from $44,000 a year, to $122,000, a year.
A station manager for Radio Wave, would cost us $30,000 a year, to $95,000, a year.
Covering these three jobs alone, as a missionary, saves our resources to strengthen other parts of the mission. Building a structure outside of the structure of the world, has resulted in greater efficiency. A budget of $75,000, is actually $257,000 extra – saved through our own labor.
We bring up these examples as a way of showing that we are very frugal with what you give to us. We owe it to Our Lady and to you, that we work for our keep. And work is holy. Our Lady’s first words given through Marija in my home were prophetic. Our Lady said:
November 20, 1988
“May your life be prayer. May your work be offered as a prayer and may everything that you do bring you toward me. Let everything that you do and everybody that you meet be an encounter with God.”
“Everything that we do,” is our prayer offered to God, for the millions of souls who are in need of the grace of conversion. When you give to a plea like the Mej plea, you are directly participating in the conversion of souls, who are touched through, “everything that we do.”
Contemplating the events of September 11th that took place 20 years ago, I can’t help but remember how we spent those days and weeks at Caritas. While so much of the world was experiencing fear and uncertainty, our life remained the same, untouched by the tragedy. Praying the Rosary in the Field as we do every day, the absence of airplanes flying just after 9/11 made us feel a million miles away from the world. We were just living our own life, in our little corner of the world, while the rest of the world changed.
Living the messages of Our Lady moved us to create our own infrastructure that not only helps us to be independent from the storms of life, but to actually grow and expand in times of adversity. It can only be explained as the blessing of Our Lady who gives us the ability, through our work done in private, to be able to continue to bring solace and direction to so many people who have need of answers, or even just to know they are being prayed for through personal, national, or global tragedies. Our Lady’s mission grew exponentially since September 11, 2001. We have grown even more since coronavirus. But our growth is for the purpose of reaching more hearts, worldwide, to lead them to Our Lady, who will lead them to Jesus, who will lead them to peace. We are deeply grateful to Our Lady for providing this voice for Her to continually encourage Her followers to trust in Her and in Her plans.
Thank you again for your generous support!
We are also putting together a short tutorial on some of the features of the new site. We will release that very soon.
Remember that there are also seven more releases coming out! One is already ready for release, and we will be letting you know about that in the next week.
Also, the old Mej v3 is still available. We will be leaving the old site up for you to use or refer back to. The old site is not being updated, but many of the functions still work on it.
Thank you for what you have given in these past two months to help us reach this goal. Please keep our mission in your prayers. We have an update about another release, which we will let you know about also next week. Thank you again!
In the Love of Our Lady,
