I honestly don’t understand how you can post warnings about the secrets coming to pass soon, since Our Lady has in no way said that to anyone or Mirjana today. She simply mentioned the “signs”. We have had visual solar signs for many years now.
I just think it can be very scary for some people to use “fear” as a tactic for compliance with the messages. I usually love everything you do in covering the messages online, but today felt much differently.
I’ve heard Ivan say Our Lady doesn’t discuss any future calamity etc., etc. That we are being offered “hope” and to think positive.
God bless you for all your fine communication. I only take opposition to today’s words from Caritas as an observation.

Thank you for your comments. We are answering your concerns about the statements on Medjugorje Headlines, September 2, 2007, in regards to the secrets and Our Lady preparing us. We know that there are 10 secrets. We do not know if all of them will be released. We do know three of them will be released to the world three days before they each happen. So, we are speaking specifically about the last three secrets that some of the visionaries have stated will be admonitions for the world. Our Lady does want us to possess the proper mentality which is not to be in fear, but also to possess the proper reality of these secrets, it must be acknowledged that there are those who will be afraid, who need to be helped to understand not to be afraid, before the moment is upon us.
The Church teaches there are two ways to go to Heaven. One is the love of God. Second is the fear of hell. Both are legitimate, according to the Church. But, of course, the best way, and God’s preference, is that we have the mentality of the first, the love of God, and the desire to be with Him. But this shows that there are two mentalities. Your thinking is obviously of the first category, but there are many who are of the second category. We have 21 years of experience with the messages that exposes us to a lot of people who became interested in Medjugorje because of the three secrets pertaining to the admonitions or the chastisements. The news about the admonitions converted many people fearful of the world’s direction and their future who, in time, evolved to that of the first mentality, love of God, the positive attraction of the love of Our Lady. Our Lady feeds both mentalities and one should not exclude or ignore the fact that there is a purpose for Our Lady letting us know that there are three secrets, which are admonitions, all of which will happen. There must be an acknowledgement that while Our Lady told the visionaries not to reveal the secrets, they could let us know they had secrets, and they would not be good for the world. Why let us know their existence if we cannot know the contents? Because knowledge of them serves to give an impulse to convert. Fr. Petar is almost 62 years old and will announce the secrets to the world. If he lives to be 75 years old, the secrets’ release could be from this moment to approximately 13 years from now. But we must take into account that Our Lady has said there are intervals between each secret which stretch the span of their taking place. Let’s give two years between each secret (a short interval in Heaven’s measurement). That means the first secret could be released 7 years from now, the second 9 years from now, and the third secret 11 years from now, with two years left behind the third secret because Fr. Petar age will be 75 at that time. Yes, he could live to be 80, but just as well, 70. Yes, adjustments can be made, but there exists a confined time frame through basic logic and reasoning it out. Logic is logic and it is a given, Fr. Petar is almost 62 and Our Lady has made it clear, by confirming Mirjana’s choice of Fr. Petar, that he will read the secrets. Therefore, seven years is not unreasonable, or even that they could come to pass much, much sooner. We have the perimeters set by the circumstances of the release and we should make as many aware of these circumstances as possible. It was also stated in the September 2, 2007 Headlines that Mirjana’s last several messages clearly give indication that the clock is “running,” as can be read in Our Lady’s words to Mirjana just 10 months ago.

One cannot take one message without the context of the other messages such as the above. “Your time is a short time,” influences the understanding of Our Lady’s words of September 2, 2007. Yes, life is short, but we know through the many messages, that Our Lady is saying much more than how short a normal life span is.
No civilization in history has reached the summit of the accumulation of abominable sins, such as what we are witnessing in our time, and survived without the intervention of God by purification, particularly the summit in relation to the tolerance by the societies of the world of man’s lust for the same gender. Even if we had no knowledge of what Our Lady has said, we have Biblical history. The apparitions are further confirmation, a thermometer for the sickness of the world. The measurement of the degree of the fever is 26 years of apparitions everyday. A big sign in this time. If some or many love Our Lady and change their hearts, then good for them. If some or many are in “fear” and change their hearts, then good for them. Our Lady’s message stated, “…God’s signs, do not be afraid…” It is black and white logic that these signs will cause fear. Hence, “…do not be afraid…” because Our Lady wants to move such mentality to follow Her out of love, not fear. But “fear” is often a component to seek the shelter of God, which leads us to move towards Him. Our Lady’s messages are applicable for every day of the future, therefore cannot be confined only to present tense in what She conveys. Our Lady says, “…I wish to keep on giving you messages as it has never been in history from the beginning of the world.” (April 4, 1985) It is a statement that what is occurring has never happened in the world before. The whole world is a Babylon. Therefore, a voice is sent from Heaven. Yes, a call, but also it is a warning. We must not negate the warnings, and Our Lady shows how serious She means what She says:

Do we think because we have gone decade after decade, degrading into the abyss of depravity, and because God has done nothing, that we should think that nothing is going to happen? That mentality is ignorance and so minimizes the events Our Lady foretells. The prophets were not silent and often the people listened and repented. Nineveh is the example.
It took decades to build the ark, but when did God make the decision to purify the earth? Yes, when he told Noah to build the ark. Many decades later the purification came. Human nature and all of society has fallen asleep, lulled by the belief of “tolerance,” thereby deceiving ourselves that because God has not acted decade after decade, that He, therefore, is accepting and tolerant of even abominable sins. The world sinks in sin, learning to live with it, “live and let live.” This has led to a misunderstanding of God’s mercy, a false understanding that God’s mercy will, in turn, let the world continue. No, the case of God against the earth is decided. God’s mercy is now, and all must not stay away from the Divine mercy available, but rather call upon it now. That is why Marija was told last month by Our Lady to tell us:

I’m reading “Sun Danced at Fatima” and it is apparent everything is in Divine Order. All true prophecy from Malachi to Garabandal is being fulfilled in this day and generation. Pray that we are worthy of being present for the fulfillment of the prophecies of Fatima, Garabandal and Medjugorje.
Thank you for your efforts to prepare people for the Tribulation which will follow Pope Benedict XVI’s death. Divine Mercy will have run its course and Divine Justice will then enter as firestorm in all areas of man’s endeavors: religion, politics, economics, the environment, etc. May Mother protect us!

You mentioned Our Lady simply mentioned “signs”. You wrote, “we’ve had visual solar signs from many years now.” Our Lady’s point is clearly missed. Who is afraid of solar signs? Very few. Most are awed by them rather than in fear of them. Our Lady said, “…in this time of God’s signs, do not be afraid because I am with you…”
We, here at Caritas, have certainly experienced miraculous signs of God, (you will hear the production September 8, 2007, 7:00 p.m. CST of a miraculous sign on mej.com), which can be fearful to some. And again, what was written in the September 2, 2007 Medjugorje Headlines of which you responded to, about the secret being released is as follows: “…but will it be preceded by signs, several signs, or is God’s sign the secrets’ release and the happenings around it? We cannot say so with certainty…” Therefore, to some degree what you state is correct, that some of these signs are now. However, we cannot, should not, shy away in anyway from the fact that we are being prepared for the soon release of the secrets, if it be tomorrow or seven years from now. A careful, prayerful observation of the messages show this. Before you know it, it will be “tomorrow,” and our “today” is merely the day before. So no one should put their head in the sand and pick through what parts of the messages keep us comfortable or because it may cause fear. The messages, like Scripture, must be understood in context of all Our Lady’s messages. The messages cause much discomfort to our mentality and humanness and of the ten secrets, the three admonitions are the climatic peak of the summit of which Our Lady is coming to warn us of and to protect our souls from. But it is through these peak events that peace will come to all creation. It is that same peace that Noah had stepping from the ark onto the earth, experiencing a holy, purified earth, the manifestation of the Divineness of the Creator, all creation in humble submission in honor of its God. The whole world was in peace, strangely and eerily transformed in only 40 days. We shall see the same. It is foolish not to plan for it tomorrow, for we are in the day before, of the tomorrow when the secrets will be released. May Our Lady wrap Her mantle around you and all who hear and heed Her messages, as well as all who are broken and need conversion.

Therefore, let us not sleep as the rest do, but let us stay alert and sober. It was very kind of whoever took the time to write me a return email with an explanation re: the “signs.” I realize there are 10 secrets, some of which had been X’d by prayer – had been my understanding.
It concerns me very much that we are seeing the summit of sin in our country and in our world since 2000 – and it concerns me greatly what is happening with our Supreme Court rulings and even yesterday in the small oceanfront hamlet lost in time – Ocean Grove, New Jersey – which is Methodist dominated/owned – whom was addressed at their last service yesterday (summer encampment) that they would have to accept and allow “abominable marriages” on their Christian grounds because Ocean Grove had received public monies. That was sickening and the people there in no way want that to happen, but it seems it will be impossible to stop, just as New Jersey was pressured by the US Supreme Court to allow “illicit abominable contracts/marriages” this past year. The sin of “greed” hurts all of us. So much is wrong today as is in my own family, especially with several of my children not wishing to practice the Catholic faith. So many of us have this problem today.
