Since 1981 Our Lady has appeared daily in Medjugorje. Everyday She prays. Everyday She speaks. What is the message She speaks? This is what we would like to discover now. From June 1981 to April 1984 the Blessed Virgin Mary talked to the visionaries and answered their questions. Those years were the years of the birth of the messages. From March 1, 1984 until the beginning of 1987, Our Lady gave a weekly message to the Parish of Medjugorje and to all people throughout the world who wanted to live Her messages. Since January 25, 1987, She has been giving a monthly message on the twenty-fifth of each month to the world. We are now in the year 2010, and we are still receiving these monthly messages.
Why is She appearing and giving messages for such a long period of time? Our Lady’s answer is:

Our Lady has remained in Medjugorje so long to teach us holiness; that is why we call Medjugorje “the School of Holiness.” She cannot teach us holiness in a few weeks or years; it takes a long time because we are slow to respond. It is difficult for us to be transformed. After each weekly or monthly message since 1984, Our Lady says:
The word, “POZIV,” in Croatian means a “call.” Our Lady is thankful because we answer Her call. Her call is Her message. In other words, “Thank you for your readiness to live my messages.” First She thanks the visionaries, then the Parish, then every person who lives the messages. Her call is important. That is why She repeats Her thanks in each message. This is no accident. Our Lady is not just trying to be polite. It is more than that. This means: thank you for living my messages, because this call, these messages, are important. She appears to help us to live the messages:

“POZIV” in Croatian also means “invitation.” The translation of this sentence would then be: “Thank you for responding to my invitation.” Here again, Our Lady’s invitation is Her message but it is also an invitation to come. The invitation to come is for the visionaries first. They come everyday to the apparition. Sometimes they have two apparitions a day. They are invited by the Blessed Mother on the hill at night and the visionaries respond to the invitation. “Thank you for coming,” says Our Lady, “and thank you also for the pilgrims who come to Medjugorje, to the Church, and to the mountains.” This means it is important to come and this is why the Virgin Mary says, “thank you,” in each message. “Thank you for coming to the spot of the apparitions.” Our Lady is happy to see people in Medjugorje. Usually when She sees a large crowd on Apparition Hill She says, “I’m happy to see you in such large numbers.” Why? Our Lady gives the answer on March 25, 1987:
Come to Medjugorje to understand what special graces are! The Blessed Mother is grateful. “Thank you,” says She. See how She explains everything if we know how to look. It is very important for the Mother of God to see us come to Medjugorje. It is very important for Her to see us live Her messages.

I have seen the invitation for the 9 day fast earlier but did not commit myself. I was interesting that somehow after going to morning Mass on Nov.1, it came back from my memory that Nov.1 is the beginning of the fast. It prompted me to call Caritas to join and get my date for 2013. My husband at first said he does not want me to do this. But later on was very supportive and asking me how I am feeling during the fast. He didn’t mind fending for himself on some days, since he knew that my exposure to food will make it difficult. It was such a heart warming feeling that my husband showed his support although he did not fast on bread and water , in some degree he did some form of fasting because he cooked scrambled eggs for a couple of nights for himself. Thank you Caritas for proclaiming a fast. Thank you Mama Mary for sustaining us for this 9 day fast. To my amazement it was not too too difficult.
Best show I have ever heard on this site yet. I felt so much love and Jesus’s forgiveness I cried. I felt Mother’s love and hope. I have been looking at myself as unworthy for forgiveness to the point that even after confession (which I try to go twice a month) I am afraid to take communion. I now realize that its not about worthiness but forgiveness. Could you please send me the name of the first song and singer? I understand the transfiguration in a way I never have before. I pray for our younger generation …Father forgive them because they know not what they do… this is more important now than ever in the history. I have been praying for a second Pentecost from the Holy Spirit… This upcoming new transfiguration will save SO many souls. It gave me a deeper meaning of the year of divine mercy. Lastly, what you said the last 10 min of show made me cry… I am going to put [the last] song on my refrigerator as a prayer to Mother and Jesus…
