Day 4 of Our Lady’s apparitions to Marija on Apparition Mountain

Our Lady appeared to Marija tonight on Apparition Mountain for Day 4 of the Novena for the 45th Anniversary. The apparition lasted almost 5 minutes. The following is Marija’s description of the apparition.

 

“During the moment of the apparition, when Our Lady came, I recommended to Our Lady all of us, all of our intentions, everything that we carry in our hearts and also all those who have recommended themselves to our prayers and all those who are not able to be with us physically but are spiritually united with us. Our Lady extended Her hands and She prayed over all of us in Her Motherly language, Aramaic. And then Our Lady gave us another task to pray for. She said:

 

“All these years I have called you to holiness. Your life on this earth is passing. I want you to leave a trace (a mark) and to prepare yourselves for eternal life.”

 

Our Lady blessed all of us with the Sign of the Cross and then She left. And She said:

 

“We will meet here tomorrow at the same place, at the same time.”

 

It was another beautiful night on the mountain with Our Lady. The climb itself is filled with so many beautiful scenes; so many children and young families of all languages, nuns and sisters and priests, old and young, invalids that are being carried and helped up, many who climbed barefoot, those who arrived early and those who came at the last moment. Then to watch everyone find their own place in which to settle and recollect themselves before entering into prayer. A simple guitar was the only accompaniment to the thousands of voices of different dialects joining together to fill the mountain with the love of God and Our Lady through song. The night sky was starlit, and the moon hung low, with only a sliver of orange light marking its place in the sky. And then the beautiful prayer of the rosary began with the call and response, everyone praying in unison until the final moments before the clock struck 11:00 PM, and then the sudden silence told us Our Lady had arrived. This is Medjugorje. This is why we come.
