Day 2 of Our Lady’s apparition to Marija on Apparition Mountain

 

 

Our Lady appeared to Marija tonight on Apparition Mountain for Day 2 of the Novena for the 45th Anniversary of Her apparitions in Medjugorje. The apparition lasted about 6 minutes. The following is Marija’s description of the apparition:

 

“This evening, during the moment of the apparition, when Our Lady came, I recommended to Our Lady all of us, all of our intentions, everything that we carry in our hearts and all those who have recommended themselves into our prayers. As always, I asked Our Lady to intercede in front of Her Son for peace in our hearts, in our families and in the world. Our Lady extended Her hands and for a longer time, She prayed over all of us in Her Motherly language, Aramaic. Once again, Our Lady gave us a task, homework:

 

“To thank God for the gift of life, to protect life and to be grateful to God for all life and everything that God has given us.”

 

Marija said that Our Lady blessed us with a Sign of the Cross. Marija also said:

 

“So, we see each other tomorrow. Same place. Same time.”

From a Friend of Medjugorje:

 

What is our homework? As today was spent in prayer, tomorrow should be spent in thanksgiving to God for everything He has given us, but most especially for the gift of life…all life. Gratefulness begets another favor.

 

I wrote in 2001:

 

“Our Lady has been on the Earth everyday for 20 years! (as of 2001) All attention is on Her. Of man and of angels, She is the holiest creature that has ever existed. Marija says even the angels, in all the apparitions, never, even for but a moment, will take their eyes off of Her. Holding on to time with Our Lady, is one of the greatest moments of their state of being in accompanying Her to Earth.”¹

 

The angels do not take their eyes off of Our Lady. Therefore, these days are more opportunities to be serious about following Our Lady’s desires, and in “not taking our eyes off of Her,” in Her task to save the world.

 

Sit down and write a list of what you are grateful for. Walk through your day tomorrow with your eyes wide open to everything around you that is a gift from God, the little things and the big things.

“Dear children, these days the Lord has bestowed upon you great graces. Let this week be one of thanksgiving for all the graces God has granted you. Thank you for having responded to my call.”
