June 21, 2014 A.D.
Our Lady had a very long message tonight, with the apparition lasting over 14 minutes. It was a beautiful evening, filled with singing and praying, as all those on the mountain witnessed a beautiful sunset. The prayer group began around 8:00 p.m. with singing. Around 8:30 p.m. the Rosary was begun. Our Lady appeared after the 7 Our Fathers, Hail Mary’s and Glory Be’s were prayed by Ivan. Our Lady appeared to Ivan at 9:00 p.m. on top of Apparition Mountain. The following is Ivan’s description of the apparition.
“Today, as every day, I would like to describe what is the most important from tonight’s meeting with Our Lady. Although it is very difficult to describe everything in words, I will try to tell you what is the most important. Also tonight Our Lady came to us joyful and happy and at the beginning, She greeted all of us with Her Motherly greeting, ‘Praised be Jesus my dear children.’ Then She extended Her hands and for a longer while She prayed over us here and, in a special way, prayed over the sick present here. Then Our Lady said:
“Then Our Lady blessed all of us with Her Motherly blessing, and She also blessed everything you brought to be blessed. After that, I recommended all of you, all of your needs, your intentions, and your families, all that you carry in your hearts. She knows our hearts best. After that Our Lady continued to pray over all of us there and left in that prayer, in an illuminated Sign of the Cross, with a greeting, ‘Go in peace my dear children.’ This is what would be the most important from tonight’s meeting. Thank you.”

There were many priests and nuns on the mountain tonight before Our Lady
Our Lady is not calling vocations only for priests or nuns. Our Lady’s asking you to be an apostle. A serious call to a vocation that is necessary to save the world. A decisive decision that contains no compromise, but a “Yes!”
A Friend of Medjugorje wrote in “As Go God’s People, So Goes the World”:
“Too many Christians are in the middle, too many idols. Does our “yes” mean “yes,” our “no” mean “no?” Compromise has infected the Christian value system. Many are not praying enough to even know what is a complete yes, so many walk the path of compromise.”
Many families were gathered together on the mountain tonight; young families, crossing generations.
You may notice there are only men shown in the pictures of tonight’s apparition. The reason: Modesty.
Mothers, young women and little girls were among the men awaiting the Queen of Peace. Many through their dress, reflected the loss of dignity that prevails in the culture where women make comfort a priority over holiness. Where is woman’s thoughtfulness? Class? Dignity? In our society today, there is little awareness of this in womanhood and motherhood.
In 1994, A Friend of Medjugorje wrote in the short book, “Modesty:”
“…but to go to Church (or anywhere for that matter) having to constantly worry about your skirt or how to sit is really making a statement that the skirt is too short…
Modesty is purity. The host is pure. If you were about to meet Jesus face to face, how would you dress? Dress that way always…”
Our Lady desires to teach modern man the importance of prayer, especially prayer in the family. The prayer group tonight is a witness to those gathered of the importance of prayer in the family.
Medjugorje Visionary, Ivan prays often for families and says:
“Prayer groups are the sign of hope for today’s Church and world…
“A very convenient way to start a prayer group is to begin to pray in the family; to sit and pray one-half to one hour each evening. I cannot accept, no matter who says that this is not possible; it is not having the desire for prayer that makes it not possible…”
Many pilgrims from around the world have begun to enter the village of Medjugorje in preparation for the 33rd anniversary of Our Lady’s apparitions. Those gathered on the mountain entered into Ivan’s prayer group tonight, many spending hours in prayer before Our Lady’s arrival.
Regarding the importance of prayer groups, Ivan has said:
“The importance of prayer groups in today’s Church and today’s world is enormous…Today we are following all different ideologies and because of this, it is now happening that morality is falling apart. It is not a surprise at all that Our Blessed Mother is emphasizing with all Her heart and with perseverance to pray, pray, pray my dear children….”

Sometimes I feel that Medjugorje is just another fantasy of the Christians. Pray that I may become a believer in all that God and Mary sends us. Pray that I come to know the truth of these apparitions and know the healing ways of Mary and her Son, Jesus. Thank you and my prayers and rosaries are with you all.

Finding this site has been such a blessing. The guidance provided is priceless since so many of us have gone astray or do not find the direction we desire and need from our indiviual churches. Please notice the Blessed Mother is mentioned and revered in many religions. The Blessed Mother asks us to pray and live according to her messages and the teachings of Her Son. Jesus still is the most influential and talked about figure in history. If we pray and live as He lived and believed as He did, help others, and love as He did, then we are fullfilling the wishes and direction of our Blessed Mother who continues to come to us, Her Children, to teach us and save us. Everyone of us needs to make the changes Our Mother has asked of us. How lucky are we all the have witnessed this

How nice it always is to hear Our Mother reassuring us about the time of grace that she surely knows is coming. She asks us of more and more dedication to her call because it was her who decided to visit mankind so that we strive to draw ourselves closer to Jesus Her Son and our Savior. I stay very far from where the apparitions are taking place, in a Sub-Saharan country known as Zambia. I sometimes print the messages and distribute to my fellow charismatic prayer group members. Sometimes I do translate into our vernacular language before distributing the message but little did I realise that I can start living the messages within my family, just as Ivan is saying. I feel blessed today and I will introduce the concept of starting a pryer group within my family when I go back home from where I am right now. Holy Mary Mother of God ,pray for Me and Use me to deliver your messages vithout reservation.

Our Blessed Mother often repeats her request for prayer, indicating that we are not praying or that we are not praying effectively. It seems that no matter how we pray that we are not meeting her need. Lord, help us. Zena
