Our Lady’s call in Medjugorje to each of us is a daily one. Each is to become Her ‘little child’, guided and taught by Her, fed by Her messages, like the birds of the air.
Matthew Chapter 6 verses 26 & 27:
“Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap, they gather nothing into barns, yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not more important than they? Can any of you by worrying add a single cubit to you span of life?”
These birds foraging for food in Medjugorje teach one that everyday, one must work for their food, both physical and spiritual. Nothing comes free, even though God provides the worm. Yesterday’s From the Desk, A Friend of Medjugorje stated:
“Our Lady’s call is actually like a mother’s call to Her children for dinner so she can nourish them and keep them healthy by preparing their meal with love and feeding them good food so that they may grow normally…”
Our Lady of Medjugorje said on June 24, 2011:
Our Lady provides the food for our souls by Her messages, and one forages everyday for that food. So that it does not stay hidden in the ground, we must everyday work to dig it up and digest it, that it is not just food, but becomes our very life.
