Special: A must-listen Radio WAVE to prepare yourself for Christmas, for Jesus to be born in your heart…
December 16, 2013 A.D.
“We have constantly an imagination of God, what we think He is, not Who He really is. Our Lady has told also…” A Friend of Medjugorje said on the December 2, 2013 Radio WAVE show titled, “Let Me Be Real.”
Many have told us that the December 2 Radio WAVE show is a perfect preparation for Christmas, a must-listen to prepare yourself for Jesus to be born in your heart. Because of the spiritual intensity of the show, set aside an hour where you can pray, listen without interruption, and place yourself into the message. Allow yourself an hour and a half of uninterrupted time, for Our Lady has very serious things to say to us, Her children, and often we are not only too busy to listen, but too busy to hear Her.
A Friend of Medjugorje said in “Let Me Be Real”, “When people go through the process of conversion, they really have to see what they stand for, they can’t be in the middle…” In this time when Christians everywhere should be witnesses of the newborn Jesus, are we just like the rest of society and do not stand apart? Do you know Who Our Lady is? Have you stopped for any length of time to consider Who this Woman is before God? These are the questions to keep in mind when listening. For your convenience, we have made it so you can listen to “Let Me Be Real” below.

Lamplight flickers in a rundown motel[[br /]]
Counting cobwebs, too many to tell[[br /]]
Set adrift on life’s open seas[[br /]]
With no particular wind calling me[[br /]]
On the dresser, a Book caught my eye[[br /]]
It had a title that I recognized[[br /]]
I opened it to John chapter 3[[br /]]
Then I felt the Spirit as I began to read[[br /]]
[[br /]]
Cause I was somewhere in the middle[[br /]]
Sitting on a fence[[br /]]
Not knowing what to stand for[[br /]]
Or what to stand against[[br /]]
I knew I had to get down on my knees and pray[[br /]]
When I read that old Book[[br /]]
I turned a new page[[br /]]
[[br /]]
Looking back to when I left home[[br /]]
Thought I was strong enough to do it alone[[br /]]
But the weight on my shoulders kept dragging me down[[br /]]
I got so lost I thought I couldn’t be found[[br /]]
Then as I read verse 16[[br /]]
My fears were washed away and I believed[[br /]]
For God so loved the world He gave[[br /]]
His one and only Son that I’d be saved[[br /]]
[[br /]]
I was somewhere in the middle[[br /]]

Made it to every ballgame[[br /]]
Unless he just had to go to work[[br /]]
He always said a man’s gotta juggle his time and his money[[br /]]
And he’s got to know what each one is worth[[br /]]
He taught me so many things[[br /]]
Even when he wasn’t trying to[[br /]]
When I’m in a situation I can’t figure out[[br /]]
I just ask myself[[br /]]
What would he do?[[br /]]
[[br /]]
I’m walking in my father’s shoes[[br /]]
He’s never let me down, that’s a lot to live up to[[br /]]
Stumblin’ and fallin’ trying to stand tall and[[br /]]
Walkin in my father’s shoes[[br /]]
[[br /]]
I’m balancing my checkbook, balancing my life[[br /]]
Chasing down the dollar, trying to buy some time[[br /]]
Jump out in the fast lane, sometimes I risk it all[[br /]]
Running myself right down to a crawl[[br /]]
[[br /]]
And I get up on Sunday morning[[br /]]
And get down on my knees[[br /]]
I always feel that he’s right there listenin’[[br /]]
Giving me direction, giving me strength[[br /]]
[[br /]]
I’m walking in my father’s shoes[[br /]]
He’s never let me down[[br /]]
That’s a lot to live up to[[br /]]

We pray for blessings, we pray for peace[[br /]]
Comfort for family, protection while we sleep[[br /]]
We pray for healing, for prosperity[[br /]]
We pray for Your mighty hand to ease our suffering[[br /]]
And all the while You hear each spoken need[[br /]]
Yet love is way too much to give us lesser things[[br /]]
[[br /]]
‘Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops[[br /]]
What if Your healing comes through tears[[br /]]
What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You’re near[[br /]]
And what if trials of this life[[br /]]
Are Your mercies in disguise[[br /]]
[[br /]]
We pray for wisdom, Your voice to hear[[br /]]
And we cry in anger when we cannot feel You near[[br /]]
We doubt Your goodness, we doubt Your love[[br /]]
As if every promise from Your Word is not enough[[br /]]
And all the while You hear each desperate plea[[br /]]
And long that we’d have faith to believe[[br /]]
[[br /]]
‘Cause what if Your blessings comes through raindrops[[br /]]

Washed in moonlight, blue and gold[[br /]]
Mary’s Babe and plastic cape[[br /]]
Quiet wonder on Her face[[br /]]
Mary you look so serene[[br /]]
Far too pretty, much too clean[[br /]]
We might think we know you well[[br /]]
But what stories would you tell[[br /]]
Of all the dirt and dust and shame[[br /]]
Every birthing labor pain[[br /]]
And as I turn to walk away[[br /]]
I hear you say[[br /]]

About the hurry and the hustle[[br /]]

Cause you believe a Baby came[[br /]]
Not in paintings or in plays[[br /]]
