Medjugorje October 4, 2019 – Pilgrims begin to pray, hours before Our Lady appears to Ivan on Apparition Mountain tonight.
Our Lady appeared to Ivan on top of Apparition Mountain at around 10:00 p.m. After the prayer group sang for awhile, Ivan started the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary. Then the prayer group prayed two decades of the Sorrowful Mysteries before the time of the apparition. Our Lady’s apparition to Ivan lasted around 10 minutes. The following is Ivan’s description of the apparition:
“Also today, Our Lady came to us very happy and joyful and She greeted all of us with Her motherly greeting, ‘Praised be Jesus my dear children.’ Then She said:
“After that, Our Lady prayed for awhile over all of us. She prayed especially over you who are sick present. Then She blessed all of us with Her motherly blessing, and blessed everything you brought to be blessed. I recommended all of you, your needs, your intentions, your families and especially the sick. After that, Our Lady continued to pray over all of us here, and She left in prayer, in an illuminated Sign of the Cross, with a greeting, ‘Go in peace my dear children.’”

On Friday of this week my husband, Greg, and I were driving home from our return flights from our pilgrimage to Medjugorje. I was wondering what Mary wanted us to do next in our way of conversion. I opened up The Seven Novenas book and continued from where we had left off. (We were a few days behind so I read the Oct. 1st message on Oct. 4th) It said, “…when you get back into your home, renew prayer in your family…the Holy Spirit wants to be present in the families…” I was overjoyed to read this. I thought of how most often I want to be a teacher/preacher to my kids. Then I thought of how the Father sent the Holy Spirit to conceive new life in Mary. I it became clear to me that the Holy Spirit will germinate new life in my family if, as Mary says, we “Allow the Holy Spirit to come.” Today I read this article on Ivan’s apparition that happened the same day I was reading about renewing prayer in the family. I couldn’t believe it when it reiterated the same thing! BrendaAhmann
