Apparition and Message Given to Mirjana on the Day for Nonbelievers
Mirjana’s March 18 and April 2, 2013 apparitions were held in her home because the weather was so bad at that time. Today the weather is beautiful in Medjugorje, so Mirjana once again had her apparition at the Blue Cross. Pilgrims began to gather at the Blue Cross as early as 7:00 p.m. last night. The crowds continued to gather up until the last moments before the apparition. Rosaries and singing began early in the morning and continued until the moment of the apparition. By the time of the apparition, there were several thousands of pilgrims present. Mirjana arrived at the Blue Cross around 8:30 a.m. Our Lady appeared to Mirjana at 8:45 a.m. and the apparition lasted about 5 minutes. Leading up to the Blue Cross this morning, May 2, 2013, thousands packed into every available space surrounding the empty narrow path secured for Mirjana when she would approach the hill of apparitions in preparation for Our Lady’s coming. Next month, in June, we will mark the 32nd anniversary of these visitations, one year shy of the 33 years Jesus, Himself, walked the earth.
Mirjana’s face lights up in seeing Our Lady before her once again. Mirjana sees Our Lady only on the second of every month, on the day Our Lady has designated to pray, in particular, for nonbelievers. Mirjana says:
“There are many who do not believe, who do not accept God as their Father, Mary as their Mother. I feel such sorrow for them that I can hardly bear it! My suffering is so great for them that I really must have the Blessed Mother’s help to survive. They do not realize what awaits them! Unbelievers are those who have no desire for God, no ability to worship God. They are spending their lives on things that pass away. Dissatisfaction, lack of peace, and sorrow are the real fruits of the labor of the unbeliever. The Blessed Mother is our Mother. She feels great sorrow for her children’s suffering when they waste their lives on things they can’t keep. This is a time of great grace but unbelievers are choosing to walk a path that leads nowhere.”

All of mankind is represented in this sea of people flooding the street beneath the Blue Cross where Mirjana had her apparition this morning. Every sin, every heartache, every struggle is held within this mass of faces. How Our Lady must look down with such pity upon these crowds before Her every month, wanting so much to bring healing to every heart. Wanting so much for every heart to find Her Son Jesus and His great mercy. A Friend of Medjugorje writes:
“We must realize we are in the midst of a profound moment in history. Few do. While working on this writing, a break was taken to go for a walk and to pray a Rosary for the intention that Our Lady would inspire what was being written. As the last decade was being prayed, a bumper sticker was seen on a car which stated, “Be kind,” and underneath it continued, “Everyone is in a great struggle.” Amazingly, this is defined in the August 2, 1981 message from Our Lady:
“…A great struggle is about to unfold. A struggle between my Son and satan. Human souls are at stake.”
What the bumper sticker stated, the Divine Wisdom had already revealed: that every single person on the face of the earth, all 6 ½ billion people, “Everyone is in a great struggle.” The struggle of the soul is to be either enslaved, trapped, and mesmerized by satan or to be attracted by Our Lady, running into Her arms, the arms of our Mother, who teaches us to “be kind” to help lead others away from satan, just as She helped us to be free from him, to be holy and in peace.”
