With Mirjana’s June 2nd of the month apparition behind us, and the 31st Anniversary of the apparitions in Medjugorje before us, the crowds in Medjugorje are a bit thinner. Though very hot during the day, the nights in Medjugorje are presently cool and pleasant. With a starry night sky as backdrop for tonight’s apparition, it was beautiful to gather with thousands of others with Our Lady tonight. Typically, Ivan’s apparitions are longer than Mirjana’s second of the month, and the daily apparitions of the visionaries. Tonight was no exception, with the apparition lasting 8-10 minutes—so much time to share our hearts with our Mother while She was before us.
At the very end of the evening, while pilgrims were slowly making their way down from the Blue Cross, the peaceful night was interrupted by demonic screams that went on for several minutes from one who had attended the apparition. It was startling for those who had never been to Medjugorje before, and it caused the crowd to erupt into spontaneous prayer, with Hail Mary’s being fervently prayed in several languages. Despite this interruption, the peace of the night lingered while pilgrims made their way back to their pansions, through the fields and streets of Medjugorje, happy to have been blessed by Our Lady on Her mountain tonight.
June 8, 2012, Apparition at Blue Cross with Medjugorje Visionary Ivan
After the apparition of Our Lady at the Blue Cross in Medjugorje, on June 8, 2012 at about 10:00 p.m., Ivan said:
“Tonight, as always, after every meeting with Our Lady, I desire to describe to you what is the most important from tonight’s meeting. Tonight, Our Lady came to us very joyful and happy and at the beginning, as always, She greeted us all with Her Motherly greeting, ‘Praised be Jesus, my dear children.’ Then Our Lady said:
Our Lady then for a longer while, with Her arms extended, prayed over all of us here. She blessed everyone with Her motherly blessing and She also blessed everything you brought to be blessed. Then Our Lady prayed, for a while, over the sick present here. I recommended all of you, your needs, your intentions, your families and especially, as always, I recommended the sick. Our Lady then continued to pray over all of us. She left in that prayer, in an illuminated Sign of the Cross with a greeting, ‘Go in peace, my dear children.’”
A small crowd was gathered at the Blue Cross before 7:00 p.m., and was praying silently, while more people arrived. St. James Church could be seen in the distance framed by orange-red blossoms on trees surrounding the Blue Cross. Everything is in full bloom in Medjugorje these days, from flowering trees, to brilliant colors that dominate the landscape of wildflowers that have overtaken the fields. It brings to mind a message Our Lady gave last year:

Winding down the other side of Apparition Mountain are the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary, with the Crowing of Our Lady as Queen placed parallel to where the Blue Cross is located at the bottom. Though the station depicts the scene of God the Father and Jesus crowning the Virgin Mary, it was hard to grasp that Mary would be appearing tonight, with Her crown of 12 stars about Her head—coming as Queen to bless all Her children. We are truly living in remarkable times.

My wife and I came to the most beautiful place on earth in 2009. We had the most beautiful experience which we will never forget. We experienced the sun spinning and the links of my rosary changing to gold. We experienced the love of our Blessed Mother and Our Lord Jesus Christ and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We have gained so much and our spiritual journey is improving day by day. We are looking forward to the day when we will make our next trip to Medjugorge. Hail Mary!
I enjoy every minute reading the different notes. I thank our Blessed Mother for giving us so much love each day taking care of our world and helping us throughout this world of darkness to renew our hearts and souls each day. Thank you, God bless this world
We were on our pilgrimage from India on May 19 – 20, 2012 and have experienced the presence of Our Lord and the Blessed Virgin Mary; seeing the spinning sun, the image of Our Blessed Virgin Mary with the Child Jesus and our rosary changing colour to a gold gilt is a heavenly gift. It is a joy to receive the updates from Medjugorje and read all about our Lady’s messages and hear about the apparitions. We will fortify our prayers for our parishes, bishops and priests.
As I read the message I was pleased to hear that Our Lady is happy because there have been times when She is so sad. I count myself one of the few lucky who was given the gift of faith and to believe. She comforts me every time. Thank you for sharing the apparitions.
I am humbled by our Mother’s message especially to pray for our priests and parishes. Her messages seem to have a different tone to them lately. I sense an urgency in them that we Her children need to work and pray harder to get her messages out. My husband and I are looking forward to going to Birmingham in July.
Every Message from Our Dear Mother is a Joy for us and this one to Ivan, was indeed a beautiful reiteration of the request for prayer for the priests. Thank you Dear Mother for guiding us each and every step of our life. We love You!

I was crying reading our Mother’s message-hoping I will have strength to pray more and more for our priests who have so many problems in our country where communists still have so much power…WE MUST BE OPTIMISTIC as God will win at the end !

Thank you for letting me know about the apparition last night. I knelt down and prayed to Our Lady for healing. As I read her message this morning, tears were running down my face and I felt Her presence so strongly. I know She is with us always, holding our hands. I have been praying for my parish and all our priests for several years. Without priests, no Mass, no Holy Communion, no Confession.
