Our Lady appeared to Marija on Day 9 of the Novena for the 44th anniversary of Our Lady’s apparitions. This was the last day of the novena and the crowds filled the entire area on top of Apparition Mountain and at the Blue Cross. Our Lady appeared at 5:00 a.m. to Marija, with the apparition lasting about 4 ½ minutes. The following is Marija’s description of the apparition.

Tuesday, June 24, 2025 – A Friend of Medjugorje has been near to Marija and Our Lady during the days of this Novena. Marija told a Friend of Medjugorje that Our Lady will again appear to her on the Mountain, on the morning of June 25.

“During the moment of the apparition when Our Lady came, I recommended to Our Lady all of us, all our intentions, everything that we have in our hearts, all the people who recommended themselves in our prayers. In a special way, I asked Our Lady to intercede before Her Son Jesus for peace in the world. I asked Our Lady to bless all the religious articles, everything that we brought with us. She prayed over us and blessed us all. I asked Our Lady to pray for peace in our hearts and in the whole world. Our Lady prayed for a long time over us. She blessed us with the Sign of the Cross and She left to Heaven.”

Marija then added that Our Lady said She would appear tomorrow, on the Feast of Our Lady Queen of Peace, “Same time, same place.” This was a surprise as everyone thought today was the end of the novena and the end of Our Lady’s special apparitions on the mountain. There was a cry of delight as Marija’s announcement carried over the crowd.

In this nine-day novena for peace, the world came perilously close to another war in the middle east that could have ballooned into World War III. Yet, instead, the world awoke this morning hearing the news that an agreement for peace was made between Israel and Iran. President Trump posted the following on his Truth Social account.

Our Lady’s special call for nine days of prayer and sacrifice brought millions from around the world to join in prayer with Her for peace. Today we see the direct result of those prayers. Our Lady’s intercession before Her Son for peace, that visionary, Marija, continuously asked Our Lady for each day of the novena, moved Jesus to grant the grace to thwart satan’s plans for war. Instead, Our Lady’s plans for peace won the day.

The tide is turning away from war and towards peace; from dark to light, from night to a new dawn. Now is not the time to stop praying. There are still battles ahead. But on this 44th Anniversary of the Queen of Peace of Medjugorje’s apparitions, we have much to give thanks to Our Lady and Her Son for, especially for a renewed hope in Our Lady’s victory in all the battles and wars we are facing, both personally and globally.

During the Balkan War that engulfed the regions surrounding Medjugorje in the early 1990’s, was a war that seemingly had no end. Yet, the Queen of Peace of Medjugorje called Her followers to intensify their prayers and fasting to end the war. Those prayers began to manifest behind-the-scenes, and Our Lady gave encouragement and hope in Her words. She said to Mirjana, 30 years ago:

“Dear children! Today my heart is filled with happiness. I would like for you to find yourselves in prayer every day, as today, this great day of prayer. Only thus, can you proceed towards true happiness and true fulfillment of body and soul. As Mother, I want to help you in this. Allow me to do so. I am telling you again to open your hearts to me and allow me to lead you. My way leads to God. I invite you that we may proceed together because you see for yourselves, that with our prayers, all evils are destroyed. Let us pray and hope.”
