The Caritas of Birmingham BVM Pilgrimage Group arrived in Medjugorje yesterday evening, June 19th. Yet with less than five hours of sleep, leaving the hotel at 3:30 a.m. early this morning, they were among the thousands who climbed in the dark to reach the top of Apparition Mountain for the apparition of Our Lady on this fifth day of the novena. It was a surreal experience for them all.

Most of our Caritas pilgrims have never been to Medjugorje before so once they reached the top and settled down near Our Lady’s statute, they slowly watched the rising sun illuminate the scene before them. They were shocked to see how many people were already there on the mountain. Among our group is a 94-year-old blind woman who comes every year to Medjugorje. She also made the climb to the top of the mountain this morning—and was an inspiration to everyone who saw her.
Our Lady appeared to Marija on Day 5 of the Novena for the 44th anniversary of Our Lady’s apparitions, again at 5:00 a.m. and the apparition lasted 7 minutes. The following is Marija’s description of the apparition.
Medjugorje visionary Marija, June 20, 2025, during Our Lady’s apparition at 5:00 AM, Medjugorje time. Along with Marija and a Friend of Medjugorje, a Bishop is seen behind Marija.“During the moment of the apparition, Our Lady looked at us, She blessed us and I recommend to Our Lady all of your needs, all of your intentions, everything that you hold in your heart, especially all those who are ill in their body and soul. But, in a special way, today, all of those who are not with us physically, but they are spiritually. Our Lady, for a long time looked upon us and She prayed over us. In a special way, for a long time again, Our Lady prayed for peace. Marija asked Our Lady to intercede before Her Son Jesus, to pray for peace in our hearts, in our families and in the entire world. Our Lady looked upon us one more time. She blessed us with the Sign of the Cross and then She went to Heaven.”
Yesterday, A Friend of Medjugorje invited everyone to send their petitions to Medjugorje through Mej.com. Today we are printing more than 250 pages of petitions that have been copied and pasted into very small print. He will be bringing them to Our Lady’s next apparition.
He continues to invite you to send your petitions, because Our Lady is listening to us. Today, three times Our Lady stopped and looked upon all those who had gathered in the early morning hours to be with Her. Marija continues to speak to Our Lady every day for all those who are not physically present here in Medjugorje, but who are spiritually joined in their hearts to Our Lady in these days leading up to Her anniversary. A Friend of Medjugorje said, that Our Lady is showing by these actions, that She is listening to our prayers.
Tonight, in Alabama, during the final decade of the Rosary, while the Community was gathered in the Field, a cloud settled only in the open area of the Field. It was not like a fog rolling in, rather, the cloud came down. Several Community members said it was mystical. The cloud stayed for about 10 minutes and was around at same time as the apparition time in Medjugorje.
Continue to spread Our Lady’s desire for everyone to be praying for peace in a special way—in our hearts, family, communities and world.

Thank you. Just Thank you for all you do in making Our Lady very accessible to those of us who cannot be there.
For years now I have wanted to go to Medjugorje but my husband always says not now. Later when the war in Europe is ended.
I am worried I will be waiting a long time then.
I want to go while Our Lady is still appearing and no wait until it is just a shrine.
Please pray for this. I don’t know how to convince him. I would happily go there on my own if needs be. But whichever way I go I want and need his blessing.

Yes, we pray for our families, our friends, our enemies, and for the entire world. We especially pray for those who are sick with health issues that never seem to go away. We pray for all the young soldiers, men and women, who are in harms way because of the wars that are taking place in israel and Ukraine. We pray for those who have so much hatred in their hearts for our current American President. We pray for those who have left God by not going back to church. We pray for those who have been injured by others. We also pray for the visionaries from Medjugorje and for the Caritas community, especially, the Friend of Medjugorje. We pray for peace and for these wars to come to an end soon so the world can live in peace once again. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
