In the world there are so many items of “news” that are not news at all. The real news, is that God is sending Our Lady to the world to save it. Our Lady of Medjugorje said on  February 17, 1984:
 

“…The world has been drawn into a great whirlpool. It does not know what it is doing. It does not realize in what sin it is sinking. It needs your prayers so that I can pull it out of this danger…”

For those who are with Our Lady, we can, if we are responding to Her messages, be pulled out of this danger. But, as Her apostles, we are not pulled out of the danger for just ourselves, but to help Our Lady pull others out of the danger. This is the purpose of the 9-day bread and water fast.
