The Caritas Community will be climbing to the Cross on Penitentiary Mountain behind Caritas of Birmingham, on Good Friday, April 18, 2014. It will be a very simple prayer, praying the Stations of the Cross going up, and the Sorrowful Mysteries at the top. The Community will be leaving to pray the Stations of Cross on the way up, promptly at 3:00 PM. Anyone wanting to join will need to meet here by 2:30 PM.

Our Lady appeared to Medjugorje visionary Marija, and blessed the Cross on June 30, 2013*. This Friday, April 18, 2014, the day of Our Lord’s Passion, the Caritas Community will be praying the simple prayers of the Stations of the Cross, and the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary. Those wishing to join should be at Caritas by 2:30 PM.
