Our Lady told us to persevere.

In Our Lady’s May 9, 2016, message given during Ivan’s prayer group, Our Lady said:
In light of so many things happening in the world today, we are re-publishing below a short writing by a Friend of Medjugorje from 2008.
Dear Followers of Our Lady,
We are living in dire times. The culture is as restless as the surface of a stormy sea. All the while, evil is brewing in the culture to impose its will upon the children of God. The movement of God, deep below the stormy sea, is getting stronger, mightier, and fiercer in its ability to resist the culture. When it surfaces, there will be a mighty clash within the culture, causing devastation and destruction to all ways that are pagan.
Our Lady has planted these seeds deep within the ocean of culture and once She lets it manifest into an earthquake, the shockwave will, as a mighty tsunami, sweep across all the lands and change the earth. As a tidal wave, with the power of great might, clears the land, these people with the seeds of the message cultivated in the heart as Our Lady’s children, are destined to be on the tidal forefront of societal change. This might, based in love, will be instilled into Our Lady’s children who accept Her call to the might of apostleship. Our Lady says:

Be real with yourself and do not only read the following questions, but give an answer to the questions.
Do you understand who you are?
Do you understand what you are called to do?
Do you understand what the enemy wants to do?
Are you resisting being taken over by the cultures of evil?
“It” is moving, both good and evil. A great clash is brewing. The Christians 2000 years ago in the Coliseum and courts won.

I appreciated these questions of understanding. They help us to focus on what everything that goes on around us means. Sometimes it is easy to forget that God has a specific purpose for each of us. I think if we are honest with ourselves, in response to these questions, it simplifies things in a way that gives us perspective. Sometimes life gets so busy that no matter how hard we try, we seem to get lost in the confusion. Perspective can clear away some of that confusion. Here I feel that God is offering us perspective.
Thank you for this writing. It may seem small to the world, however it is very huge for this little soul. Mother Mary lovingly whispers to me in prayer, “Be persevering. Do not get tired, I am NEAR you.” No one calls me on the phone. Not even my family. I do not text, no e-mail on a cell phone, I do not watch TV. It is getting harder and harder to stand firm. I do not check my e-mails or turn on my computer everyday. I am missing out on things and events happening. Even in my church and prayer groups. I talked with my husband about maybe I need to get a phone where I can e-mail so I can not miss out on seemingly important information. Then I opened to this message and writing. “BE PERSEVERING. DO NOT GET TIRED.” Thank you Mother Mary, thank you Caritas. Each day when Our Lady comes I see you in my heart in the field. A family of love. A family that perseveres and does not get tired. All the information I need only comes through prayer and fasting. Jesus we Trust in YOU.
