Many are responding to the Urgent Plea for Ireland, which a Friend of Medjugorje released on Thursday, May 17. This is one of many letters we received a few days ago from Ireland:
“Can I implore all readers and listeners to join in intense prayer for Ireland over the next 9 days. Ireland currently has a law known as the 8th amendment which gives equal protection to the life of the mother and child. Abortion is not permitted except when the mother is at risk of death. It is estimated that 100,000 people are alive today because of this law. The people of Ireland will vote on [May] 25th, on whether to repeal this law or not. If repealed it opens the floodgates of abortion for all 9 months of pregnancy. Our Lady today asks us to ‘be a sign to others’. Please, please pray that this evil can be defeated and that the Irish people will have the moral courage to stand up for life and defend those who cannot defend themselves. Thank you.”
We are hearing from many people across the world who are spreading this Urgent Plea for Ireland. Be sure to spread this to all your social media, to all your Facebook friends, Tweet to everybody, to get the word out. Use this link here, Urgent Plea for Ireland, which also has a special Consecration prayer to be praying before the May 25, 2018, vote.
