After over 32 years, Our Lady of Medjugorje continues to speak to the world in a direct way, a way not seen before in the history of the world. Her wisdom understands what today’s world puts before us, and She gives us direction to combat it. Our Lady said on May 30, 1985:
When many are tired, they think of vacation, of their body rest, but often forget their soul, that noble part which animates the body. If the soul is tired, the body will be tired too. A Friend of Medjugorje founded BVM Caritas Medjugorje pilgrimages as centered and foundationed on this understanding, that the soul comes first. We have often written in our pilgrimage publications, that if one is interested in a vacation, then BVM Caritas is not the group to go to Medjugorje with. Our Medjugorje pilgrims so often tell us that they are pleased that it is a true pilgrimage, in that the focus of our pilgrimages is on Our Lady’s apparitions, Her messages, and the importance of Apparition time.
