Our Lady Queen of Peace of Medjugorje’s April 2, 2015
Apparition and Message Given through Mirjana on the Day for Nonbelievers

Following is Our Lady’s message of April 2, 2015, given on the day of prayer for non-believers:

“Dear children, I have chosen you, my apostles, because all of you carry something beautiful within you. You can help me to have the love, for the sake of which my Son died and then resurrected, win anew. Therefore, I am calling you, my apostles, to try to see something good in every creature of God, in all of my children, and to try to understand them. My children, you are all brothers through the same Holy Spirit. You, filled with love for my Son, can speak of what you know to all those who have not come to know that love. You have come to know the love of my Son, you have comprehended His Resurrection, with joy you cast your gaze towards Him. My motherly desire is for all of my children to be united in love for Jesus. Therefore, I am calling you, my apostles, to live the Eucharist with joy, because in the Eucharist my Son gives Himself to you anew and with His example shows the love and sacrifice towards the neighbor. Thank you.”

“…I have chosen you…”

by A Friend of Medjugorje

Angels hold it as one of their greatest moments in their state of being to be chosen by Our Lady for a task. We learned this from Marija in 1988, in the Bedroom of Apparitions, when three small angels appeared with Our Lady. They, with Our Lady, were very happy. Marija then explained the remarkable event in an angel’s existence, relaying that angels hold it as one of their greatest moments of their state of being, to be called upon for a task like accompanying Our Lady in the apparitions, and that they cherish, even ‘vie’ to be chosen by Our Lady.

Those of us in the Bedroom of Apparitions on November 21, 1988, were in great joy, hearing this insight from Marija, as we imagined, with smiles on our faces, that the ‘child angels” must have been jumping up and down in the hope that Our Lady would pick them as She did these three angels who were fortunate to accompany Our Lady for this visit to earth. It was something very ‘beautiful’ to learn and a moment of great privilege to be chosen to be present, for all of us in the Bedroom.

You live in a moment the angels would be in holy envy to take part in. “…I have chosen you…,” Our Lady told you today. You live in a moment of man’s history that St. Louis de Montfort prophesied, saying:

Our Lady would come and raise up the last apostles of the latter times, and that they would be as the children of Levi, purified by the great fire of tribulation.

Even in Heaven, St. Louis is in holy envy of the task you are being given and for which you have been chosen. It was he who longed, ‘vied’ for such an incredible, adventurous, intriguing, privileged task:

“As for us, we have but to hold our tongues, to pray, to sigh and to wait: ‘With expectation I have waited.’”

Our Lady said today:

“…I have chosen you, my apostles, because all of you carry something beautiful within you…”

What is beautiful within you? Our Lady has polished your best traits, as gold is refined in fire. Scripture tells us, “Do not worry that a trial by fire is occurring in your midst, for gold is refined by fire.” We are not to complain about our trials, even less so, because of the greatness of the gift they are. Why? Because like the angels who held it as one of the greatest moments in their state of being to be chosen by Our Lady, we should also hold it as one of the greatest moments of our state of being, to be chosen by Our Lady and given the special purifying trial by fire to polish the attributes She wants to shine – shine in you so that they become the:

“…something beautiful within you…”

These attributes of love are the “something beautiful” in you that is exposed in many ways to the outside world, all expressed through you, delivered by different charisms and finesse that attracts people to want to not only be with you, but to imitate you, be like you. You can only achieve this level of connecting with others ‘by your being,’ by giving the Christ, the love of Christ, from within your being, to others. “You” may be the most important encounter in someone’s life, for them to have a privileged encounter with you, that changes, through grace, their life! “Me, give a privilege to another, through meeting me?”  It is not a haughty thing.  Our Lady gave you the privilege of encountering Her.  You are to extend the same. Christ gave the apostles the privilege of walking with Him.  Many held it a great privilege to meet those apostles directly chosen by Him.  Will it not be the same with the  apostles of Our Lady who have walked with Her while She was with us?  It is a reality that the saints were sought out by many people when they were alive. Yet, the encounter is not only a privilege for them. It is a privilege for you to have an encounter with the individual. Why? Because you will be encountering God.  How is that?  Our Lady said from the Bedroom of Apparitions:

November 20, 1988

“…Let everything that you do and everybody that you meet be an encounter with God.”

It takes a special touch of love within you to encounter someone, to recognize that in this encounter is an encounter with God. We are chosen for the task to “win anew” many, many souls so to regrow the church in holiness, just as the numbers exponentially grew in the new Church 2000 years ago. There is something terrible about this, yet beautiful. Terrible because the numbers increased through great trials of fire, persecution, and martyrdom, but resulted in what is beautiful, in that the resurrection of many souls who were dead came to life through encountering God’s chosen ones 2,000 years ago.  Our Lady has chosen Her apostles today who have the same effect.  The pagan, nonbeliever or doubter saw beauty in the souls who gave their whole being for their God. The early Church grew because its members displayed a belief so strong, they died for it. Many pagans yearned to have such a belief, a belief that stood for something, something that was so strong it was worth dying for. Today, we are called to rebirth Christendom. It is beautiful to have within your soul the attributes of love for God, for Our Lady, for Her Son that you are willing, without qualms, give your life for the Father and Son, through Our Lady’s call. To grow to this point of refinement, through trial by fire, is liberating and of great value, not only to your soul, but a value for the whole Church. A true apostle feels in the heart that they are willing to give a life of toil, working for Heaven’s plans, and even to die as a martyr, if God so chooses. A true apostle leaves to God the choice of what crown to wear in his particular state of being. Either way, it is a great thing, a great honor to take part in Christ’s sufferings when you have been given suffering yourself. Peter says:

“In this you rejoice, although now for a little while you may have to suffer through various trials, so that the genuineness of your faith, more precious than gold that is perishable even though tested by fire…”
1 Peter 1:6-7

You may be called to the task of a lifetime of toil, sufferings, and persecution for Our Lady’s plans to be achieved, and to carry them with joy, which is beautiful; or you may be called to give your life in martyrdom, or you may be called to both. It is a great call, as it is “tasked” for the angels to be in Our Lady’s service, She choosing you to be Her apostles for whatever it may entail.

“To let everyone you meet be an encounter with God,” as Our Lady said in the Bedroom of Apparitions, is to be searching, trying to understand in the one you encounter what good attributes of God that you could help them build up. Often even the most decrepit person has something in their life that through your witness, you can help expand this good into being better, even if it is a tiny good that needs prospering.

Our Lady is making it very clear that She is commissioning Her children, growing them into apostles to propagate Her plans. Our Lady brings us to a new plateau in which, as an apostle, you can now “speak of what you know” and there will be an accompanying grace that will empower your words if you give them, filled with love for Christ and Her, imparting this love upon the soul you encounter.

We very frequently experience divine encounters throughout our day at Caritas, whenever we go out or when someone visits. With just one greeting or through one of us expressing something to someone in a line at a store, etc. turns the person towards Our Lady about Her Son. We often catch fish, without intentionally going fishing. We come back with beautiful stories, telling the whole Community of ‘our catch’. We have given ourselves over to Our Lady’s apostleship and She has given over to us ‘nets’ made of grace.

We are all brothers through the same Holy Spirit, not divided as today’s man divides everything into groups. We are one, under the name, ‘mankind,’ not two, as the diabolical feminist movement influences Christians who mindlessly, without thought, follow their agendas and plans to transform the cultures of the world’s to accept ‘diversity.’ It is satan’s evil plan to propagate the lie that ‘diversity of beliefs’ will unite us. We, as apostles, must debase these evil ideals, in order to influence the world’s cultures instead of the other way around, influencing Christian thought. Christopher Columbus wrote in his diary that he was driven by the Holy Spirit to bring the Gospel to new lands. When Pope Benedict was confronted on a visit to South America, and asked to apologize to the indigenous people of the land for the Europeans coming there and changing their culture, Pope Benedict refuted them, relaying, “Their souls were crying out for Christ and the discoverers brought Him to the people.” The world would say “in your diversity” love Jesus. Our Lady says the opposite. Our Lady says, all my children “be united” in love for Jesus. The world’s way gives birth to compromise, mixed up theology, etc.; the latter – oneness. We are to build a new world, debasing with our love, wisdom and witness, the debased beliefs of man and his promotion of divisive diversity, humanism. It is our work to debase the growing culture of no belief in God, or we have a restrictive, controlling God, instead of a God of freedom. Our apostleship is not only to build up, but also to tear down, by our witness of Christian principles, based in love, to show when one lives such a life, it is good for them and all of society’s well being. As an apostle, you must not adopt the changes in language for the sake of ‘diversity!’ Words are satan’s greatest tools to reordering society.

If you truly loved your neighbor, you would tell him, sin no more, just as Jesus did in the Scripture. You would tell him, you’re a friend, but your friendship has a price. You have an obligation not to accept sin, not to tolerate sin in them. This is not to say all of us have not fallen. Yes, all of us are sinners. But we are not to accept the evil of tolerance of what is not of God. If we take the position, “live and let live,” instead of convicting certain sinful behavior and allowing the normalization of sin, then we cannot achieve the renewal of the world. Instead, we will break down into groups, like tribes of monkeys, nay monkeys would be better than man who continues to grow in such debasement that the world will eventually draw down fire upon itself.

We, as apostles, must clean up sin in our own lives, then we are to confront sin in society. All of us are sinners in need of repentance. That, however, is not to stop us from confronting the normalization of sin. We are not to live with the normalization of sin or accept it, or let it dictate to us, “It is just the way they are.” If we love the sinner, we are to confront the sin. That is real love for the sinner. How do we have the proper love in us? Obey God’s Commandments. Love is best displayed by obedience, which is necessary for peace to reign. Unity then will come to man as united brothers with the same Holy Spirit speaking to all. The Holy Spirit is the one need for today’s man. We then can have literally everything today that is necessary for peace. Our Lady says:

October 21, 1993

“The important thing is to pray to the Holy Spirit so that He may descend on you. When you have the Holy Spirit, you have everything…”

Cemetery in Medjugorje

Many people see cemeteries as a sad place, and for some even a frightening place, but for a Christian, Our Lady has come to show that cemeteries should be a place of hope for salvation, and therefore, peace and even joy in remembering the life of loved ones who are now in the embrace of Heaven . Each of the five hamlets in Medjugorje have their own cemetery. This cemetery, at sunset, with Cross Mountain in the background is in Bijakovici at the foot of Apparition Mountain. Several of the visionaries’ families are buried there, including Ivanka’s mother. Ivanka has had the great grace of seeing her mother in her glorified body on several occasions in her apparitions. A Friend of Medjugorje brings light to this grace given to Ivanka:

“Remember at the beginning of Our Lady’s apparitions, Ivanka’s mother, who had just died two months before, appeared with Our Lady and told Ivanka to help her grandmother and that she was proud of her (Ivanka)! Why did Our Lady allow this? She wants to establish a live connection between Heaven and us! This tells us that loved ones are not closed off, enjoying Heaven at the expense of forgetting us on earth. No, they are interested in helping grandmother! We can benefit greatly by remembering our loved ones as our own saints and advocates.”

From the writing, “Judge with Right Judgement” by A Friend of Medjugorje, 2006

It is a moving experience to visit the grave of Ivanka’s mother, knowing that Ivanka has seen her mother “risen from the grave.” Ivanka has said, “I can testify that Heaven is real and that our loved ones truly live after death,” which was for “…the sake of which my Son died and then resurrected…”

Adoration in Medjugorje

A Friend of Medjugorje, in observing the Church before Medjugorje and after Medjugorje, was the first who stated clearly that Our Lady, through Medjugorje, is responsible for the rebirth of Eucharistic Adoration worldwide. Our Lady, through Medjugorje, is responsible for the rebirth of confession worldwide. Our Lady, through Medjugorje, is responsible for the rebirth of fasting worldwide. Our Lady, through Medjugorje, is responsible for the rebirth of prayer worldwide. All future renewal, all future spiritual events for the world will derive from Medjugorje.

One of the most beautiful experiences for pilgrims is Adoration in Medjugorje which takes place around the outside altar through most of the year, with tens of thousands of pilgrims and villagers on their knees adoring their Lord in the Eucharist. Fr. Jozo, the first parish priest of Medjugorje, was sent to prison for his support of the apparitions in 1981. His words below reflect the words of Our Lady spoken today, April 2, 2015, in Medjugorje: “…My children, you are all brothers through the same Holy Spirit…Therefore, I am calling you, my apostles, to live the Eucharist with joy, because in the Eucharist my Son gives Himself to you anew and with His example shows the love and sacrifice towards the neighbor…”:

“He who attends Holy Mass discovers his neighbor. You cannot refuse your neighbor, you cannot hate him because one only Spirit inspires and infuses the gift of life in all…Do not forget: you have a great opportunity of giving value to your life: take your sufferings, your work, your cross, your whole life and unite yourself to Christ, to His offering to the Father, to His love. Then, your life will gain a new price because it receives all its value from the Eucharist: “Nevertheless I live; yet not I…” The world hungers for love! Jesus said to His disciples: ‘Give them something to eat’, and bread appeared in the desert. Love never expends. Our duty is to give it out, to share it.”

Consecration at Caritas

Members of the Community of Caritas come together in prayer, kneeling before the statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, to renew their individual promises to Jesus and Our Lady in living the way of the messages through the life of the Caritas Community. A Friend of Medjugorje has stated that,

“some of the most subtle attacks of satan on Medjugorje from voices within are saying, ‘We need to be more Christ-centered.’ ‘We are saying too much about Mary and using Jesus’ name less.’”

He answers this criticism by quoting St. Louis De Montfort:

“The scrupulous devotees are those who fear to dishonor the Son by honoring the Mother, to abase the one in elevating the other. They cannot bear that we should attribute to Our Lady the most just praise which the holy Fathers have given Her. It is all they can do to endure that there should be more people before the altar of the Blessed Virgin than before the Blessed Sacrament — as if the one were contrary to the other, as if those who prayed to our Blessed Lady did not pray to Jesus Christ through Her. They are unwilling that we should speak so often of Our Lady and address Her so frequently.

“Here are some of their favorite sayings: ‘We must have recourse to Jesus Christ; He is our only Mediator. We must preach Jesus Christ; this is the solid devotion.’ What they say is in a certain sense true, but in the application they make of it, namely, to hinder devotion to our Blessed Lady, very dangerous; and it is, under pretext of a greater good, a subtle snare of the evil one. For the more we honor the Blessed Virgin, the more we honor Jesus Christ, because we honor Mary only that we may then more perfectly honor Jesus, since we go to Her only as the way by which we are to find the end we are seeking, which is Jesus.”

From True Devotion to Mary by St. Louis de Montfort

Our Lady acknowledges this in Her own message today that this is Her desire:

“…You have come to know the love of my Son, you have comprehended His Resurrection, with joy you cast your gaze towards Him…”

Plaque of Our Lady

A small plaque of the beautiful face of Our Lady is found leaning against a tombstone in Medjugorje. We may wonder, sometimes, why Our Lady continues to come every day to this world in which so few have accepted to listen and live Her messages. Medjugorje visionary Marija, who receives the messages of the 25th each month, gives her own opinion about this, an opinion that has more weight than any of ours because of having the great privilege of knowing Our Lady intimately through the apparitions. Yet, by Marija and the other visionaries testimony, we can gain greater insight into the love Our Lady has for us and for our world:

“It is true that on a few occasions [Our Lady] told us that unless we began to really accept the messages, which meant living them, and putting them into practice, She would stop giving them. But I see that rather as the responsible attitude of a mother who must get across to her children the seriousness of the situation. Our Lady is constantly trying to tell us, with love, that we must change our lives. And there are times when She becomes serious, as any mother does when her children do not appear to be listening. But that does not mean that She has lost Her love for us or that She would abandon us.

“I see Her coming here to Medjugorje for so long as a huge sign of Her love. If She did not love us greatly, She would not have remained to teach us and guide us all these years.”

Pilgrim in Medjugorje

Pilgrims have waited in prayer all night on Apparition Mountain for Our Lady’s apparition on the second of the month. This pilgrim’s face is radiant, as he gazes with joy, enlightened by the warmth of the rising sun just before Our Lady arrives. His eyes, his expression reflect a moment of grace, something inside his heart that makes you wonder what his thoughts might be to bring such light and joy to his face. Our Lady has said there are particular graces for those who are present at the apparitions. Why would anyone wait to go to Medjugorje?

Today, April 2, 2015, Holy Thursday, the night of the Last Supper, Our Lady gives us words that will guide us through the end of this Lent. She begins saying,

“…You have come to know the love of my Son…”

And then She says,

“…with joy you cast your gaze towards Him…”

As many worldwide begin tonight to enter into the Passion of Jesus, the Easter Triduum, how can these new words of Our Lady be transformed into life today?

A Friend of Medjugorje writes,

“Kneeling and praying before a Crucifix relieves us, brings us joy, and makes us whole. Our Lady surprisingly has asked for the “Joyful” Mysteries to be said before the Crucifix many times.

February 27, 1989

“…Tonight when you go home, pray the Joyful Mysteries in front of the Crucifix.”

March 3, 1989

“…Tonight when you come home, pray the Joyful Mysteries in front of the Crucifix.”

“Praying in front of the Crucifix not only brings joy but also teaches us to love. The Crucifix symbolizes the essence of love — Jesus, giving Himself so completely for others. This is a source of untold conversions. The love symbolized on the Crucifix teaches us to give ourselves to others so completely that through God’s graces, we ourselves become a source of conversions.”

A Friend of Medjugorje, from the epistle, “In Front of the Crucifix with Our Lady,” written in 1991

 Daily Rosary at Caritas

Two young boys from the Community of Caritas run down the Rosary trail from our founder’s home to the Field for the daily Rosary. The daily Rosary is a great joy for the Community, those who visit and those who have brought this into their own families. Just as those who stop their lives, go to Medjugorje all work stops for the moment Our Lady arrives each day. The life of the Community of Caritas is a window into what God can do to resurrect a new life from one person who, through living the messages of Our Lady, built a new way of life for himself, his family, and countless others through Medjugorje.

In 2011, A Friend of Medjugorje wrote of Caritas’ mission,

“This is our life. You cannot do what we do for a paycheck. It has to be performed with the love of a missionary spirit, a spirit based in the message of February 25, 1988:

“…sacrifice your lives for the salvation of the world…”

Our Lady said today, April 2, 2015,

“…speak of what you have come to know to all those who have not come to know that love…the love and sacrifice towards the neighbor…”

By living Our Lady’s messages, you will enter the school of love, Our Lady’s way, which is the way of Her Son, the way of the Cross, the way of true love. You will grow in understanding as you grow in conversion. This joy will be comprehending the resurrection of what you were, what your life was before and what it is after Medjugorje.

Medjugorje visionary, Mirjana, for 33 years has been a witness to Our Lady’s desires for Her children. From her experience of living the messages, Mirjana relays what is described above.

“…The Gospa desires of us peace, prayer, fasting, penance…What is important is how often we follow this because, if we do it in the silence of our own homes, we will pass this on to our families, we will pass it on to our neighbors, the village, the country…But this will only happen if we start with ourselves and not with others. It is important that each one of us accepts this and not what others do?”

A Conversation with the Visionaries, Kresimir Sego, 2011

Pilgrim in Medjugorje

Sitting in Medjugorje, a woman holds a rock, a wedding ring, and a rosary.

On the second of each month, Our Lady asks for prayer from the heart for non-believers. What is a non-believer? A Friend of Medjugorje gave this answer on a Radio WAVE broadcast, September 2, 2014:

“The non-believer is someone who has never experienced the love of God. The love of God is experienced between the husband and wife loving each other. When the husband and wife don’t have the proper exchange of love and proper order of structure in the family, anarchy ensues in the heart, not just physically in the family home, but in the heart of the individual…”

Mirjana says of non-believers:

“The Gospa does not only ask us to pray, She wants us to lead exemplary lives. When She asks us to pray for those who have not yet experienced God’s love, She asks of us to do things Her way – to feel love for the non-believers, to love them as if they were our brothers who were not as lucky as we were to have the opportunity to experience His love. Only when one feels this way can one pray for these people…”

Continuing from the epistle, “In Front of the Crucifix With Our Lady” from above, A Friend of Medjugorje says,

“We learn how to give while before the Crucifix. To give the highest degree of oneself as Jesus did, even when exhausted, will convert your spouses, your children, your friends, and the world. You become a server rather than a receiver. You become love.”

A Friend of Medjugorje, from the epistle, “In Front of the Crucifix with Our Lady,” written in 1991

„Draga djeco, Izabrala sam vas, apostoli moji, jer svi vi u sebi nosite nešto lijepo. Hvala vam.”
