In This Time Everything That Happens Is connected to Medjugorje

The following is ‘Words of the Harvesters’ that we informed you would be posted on mej.com this Friday:

We recently received a fax from community members manning our Mission Outpost in Medjugorje. The Caritas Mission House attracts people from all over the world who find it very refreshing to see a place totally devoted to Our Lady and Her messages, where they can obtain free material both for their own sanctification, as well as perfect materials to help spread Medjugorje once they return home. It is a great grace for the community to be in Medjugorje throughout the year, meeting and speaking with Our Lady’s children from all over the world. Often God’s spirit is perceived in how He is working in the hearts of His children through the similarities we hear in the stories we are told from people all across the world who are totally separate and unconnected from each other. We know, for instance, that over the past five years especially, God has been active in purifying His people because everyone who is trying to walk the path of righteousness has been enduring intense trials in their personal lives. In talking to people, many are discerning what we have been relaying for years. That being – everything that happens, all events of our day, are connected to Medjugorje. One may ask, the bad also? Yes, satan manifests his hatred to Our Lady’s plans for holiness the world over through retaliation of evil schemes and actions of our day. The letter from our community member in Medjugorje:
 

Dear Community,

Our October pilgrim group just arrived and there has been a lot of sharing of stories with each other. I particularly enjoyed some of the stories that Bernie and Joan, pilgrims from Alabama, shared with us, and knew that y’all would also be touched by them.

Their son, David, came to Medjugorje with them about five years ago. He was a sophomore at Samford University in Birmingham. He had a profound experience in Medjugorje. He was asked to come speak to an 8th grade religion class at the Catholic school he had once attended and share his experience of Medjugorje. He left Samford University one afternoon and planned to speak to the class the following day. He took Interstate 65, and was passing through an area where there was a lot of construction work going on. Suddenly, he felt an oppressive feeling come over him, that filled the car and before he knew what was happening his car began flipping over—not on its side, but it flipped from the front end and over, five different times. He said that it was all in slow motion and that he counted to himself how many times he flipped. When the car finally stopped moving, the first thing that was in his field of vision was a Russian Icon his grandmother had given to him of Our Lady. He crawled out of the car and was completely uninjured, not so much as even a scratch, though the car was totaled. Strangers began approaching him, some good Baptists wanted to know if he “was saved.” He didn’t want to talk to anyone. He told them, “Please leave me alone. I just want to pray.” When he arrived at his parent’s house later that evening, his mother said that he was filthy. He had dirt everywhere. When he took a shower, his ears were stuffed solid with dirt. He believes to this day that there was a satanic spirit that influenced the events of that day, apparently because of his intent to give his testimony of Medjugorje to this 8th grade class of students.

The teacher of this 8th grade class also went to Medjugorje many years ago. Though she had been married for several years, she and her husband were not able to have any children. They had been to doctors to try and find a medical solution to the difficulty but were not successful. The two of them went on a pilgrimage to Medjugorje and decided to spend the night in prayer on top of Apparition Hill. Their hope was that Our Lady would answer their prayers and give them their own child. Shortly after they returned home from their pilgrimage, she conceived. She is now the mother of five children. They have no doubt that they received this grace through Medjugorje.

Bernie is an eye doctor who has about 15 employees working for him. He helps to find people to take an hour of Adoration for the weekly 40-hour Adoration devotion in his parish church. The laity of his parish had told their priest that they would do all the work, get the people signed up, etc., so the priest wouldn’t have to worry about anything. It has been very successful. Bernie has several Catholics who work for him, some of whom are fallen away. He is always looking for different people to commit to an hour of adoration every week. When a person commits, they fill out a little card with the hour they want to commit to. One day he called one of his employees in, a woman who had left the church, handed her a card and said to fill it out and return it as soon as possible. He did this as a joke, but not really. Well, she took him up on the invitation. She put down her lunch hour, 12-1, and has been faithful to this time ever since. Although she hasn’t returned fully to the church, and doesn’t always make it to Mass every week, she never misses her hour of adoration. She loves this time. It gives her a lot of peace. She began inviting another one of Bernie’s employees to go with her, also a fallen away Catholic. Now the two of them go together. Bernie told this woman her goal is to get every one of his employees to commit to an hour of adoration a week. He also said this as a joke…but, we’ll see.

Bernie and Joan are both strong Medjugorje devotees. Bernie 100% believes that whatever happens in the world, it is all connected to Medjugorje and it will be from here that future events will proceed. It was his main reason to come back this year, during the 25th anniversary year, because he believes that we are close to seeing some major happenings in the world.

Bernie’s perspective isn’t an isolated thought. I am hearing this a lot from people I speak with in and outside the Mission House. There is a feeling of expectation. One woman I spoke to from Idaho said that she woke up this past Ash Wednesday, to an interior voice that said, “The waiting is over.” (Not so much a real voice, but a very strong thought that made a deep impression upon her.) She has been praying many years for God to manifest to her what she is suppose to be doing. She came to Medjugorje because she believes the time is approaching when God is going to reveal this to her soon. I have also heard this same thought among many people as well. That they felt called to Medjugorje because God had something He wanted to reveal to them. We have to say that we feel this in our spirits as well.

The waiting coming to an end recalls us back to when we entered the Great Jubilee Year of 2000, the first words Our Lady spoke to us, Her children, were:
 

January 2, 2000

“Never as much as today, my heart is begging for your help! I, your Mother, am begging my children that they help me to realize what the Father has sent me for…Pray and wait!”

Exactly one year later, Our Lady called Marija up Apparition Hill at midnight on New Year’s Eve for an announcement that unsettled all those who had the ears to hear:
 

January 1, 2001

“My dear children, now that when satan is unchained, I desire you to be consecrated to My Heart and the Heart of My Son Jesus…”

A little over nine months later, the events of 9/11 changed the way the world lived, and also individually. All of Christianity has seemed to be under a mandate of purification, beginning from the above words that have carried through over these past five years. This purification has been for the purpose of strengthening, renewing and perfecting God’s people for the task ahead of us—for the Great Evangelization and the Springtime of Christianity. Through this purification we were to become further detached from the world and more firmly attached to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. We are now in another Jubilee Year, the Jubilee of Our Lady’s apparitions of 25 years. Consider some of the words She has spoken this year.

“I am gathering you under my Motherly mantle…my children…set out and witness His love…”
 

When a seed is planted in the ground, there is no evidence that there is life, even though underneath the ground there is much activity occurring. We must pray for God to send sunshine and rain to nourish the seed, and then we must wait patiently for the time when the new life breaks forth from the ground, is strengthened and the flower finally blooms. When the flower blooms in all its fresh color and its attractive scent, it draws people towards it. This is the time we are entering! We are hearing lately from the thoughts of many people here in the United States and those from around the world, who are pilgrimaging to Medjugorje, that there is a strong sense that Our Lady is on the move. That the time of “praying and waiting” is slowly being left behind. That Our Lady is calling us to “set out and witness His love.” Many, many people have been praying for years for God to manifest His plans for their future. They feel that God has something further planned for their lives, but that He has chosen not to reveal it yet. And yet, there seems to be an ever increasing thought in many of these same people that soon the time is approaching when God will shine His light into the hearts of His children to show them what they are to do and how they are to proceed, how they are to “set out.”

The other thought manifesting itself among those who are praying the most is a strong attraction and need to be in “community.” Some are almost desperate to break away from the dark world that surrounds them, realizing that their single light in the darkness cannot withstand the darkness, and the only way it will survive is if it joins with the light of others—knowing that by doing so, they will have a much greater impact in dispersing the darkness. Others have already journeyed far in their thoughts that have led them on the road towards community, although most are still waiting for God to manifest “how” it is to happen, when, where and with who. What is different about these people from five years ago, is that they have a confidence, an assurance that this will come to pass, that wasn’t there before.

It is our belief in community that our own mission is coming into its own, as well. That our own call to share and spread this “way of salvation,” this way of life that Our Lady gave for us to live, will be manifesting itself in the lives of countless people across the world. What we see and feel is that the building of the Ark has been completed—now it’s time to get aboard. And God will manifest to each person how and when that is to be accomplished. Our Lady, just a few months ago, said:

She then refers to the “great works of God.” Is She not referring to His great works that are evolving and manifesting in this, our time?
 

“…God is great. Great are His works…”
 

Because also in a recent message She says that this is “our” time.

“…I am coming to you in this your time…”
 

Why so much emphasis on “time” or the “times” by Our Lady? The following, which was written for the turn of the year 2000 millennium, will help you comprehend why.
 

Time…Time…Time…It is a part of everything. Within its arms, Fathertime never stops.
Life, death, history, joy, tragedy, advances, regrets…all are in constant motion.
No power on earth can slow it, stop it, alter it.
It continues one second at a time, building a foundation into minutes, hours, days, months, years,
decades, centuries, to build millenniums.
The ages come and go as falls gives way to winters.
Lifetimes turn into mere specs of time.
Lives ancient by our ways who never saw the dawn of modern times haunt us
from the past with the question,
“Were they better off having lived in a safer, less complex, time?”
Sin knows no barrier of time for it transcends time.
It was there in the heart of the primitive man and his club, the archer facing the castle for ill gain,
And the munitions expert firing a missile with an ill heart just as it was and is today in the heart of
he who cheats his measurements, of goods by scales with the counterweight of rocks,
then iron, and now electronics.
Though there are forbidden fruits today, sin comes from the heart
And as time is built into millenniums by seconds,
The monstrous sins of the present were built one sin at a time.
The accumulation of sin is amassed to the point where in another time
God sealed the door of the Ark.
Oh door of our time…where are you but in the opening of Our Lady’s mantle.
Noah’s ark that saved mankind physically; and afterwards,
The new covenant and the Ark that saved us spiritually, bring us through time, to “another time,”
Where the Ark of today will save us “physically” and “spiritually.”
The Ark is Our Lady, and yes, what better time to live than now
In answer to the question from ancient man:
“Were others better off living in a simpler time?”
All through time, “history” is continually teaching us this:
As for our time; that the more severe the test
The greater will be its reward for the victorious.
It’s a glorious time to live.
We sit in the front row seat of the amphitheater of time.
The age of peace is on the horizon,
The invitation to be under Our Lady’s mantle, our Ark, is the open door.
Time doesn’t exist in Heaven.
How privileged are we to gaze in the face of a visionary where time doesn’t exist,
For while “we” remain in time, “they” are outside of space and time right before our eyes.
Everything stands still.
Existence, minus time, is before us.
No,…voice of ancient man cannot haunt he who stands in the face of time where it doesn’t exist.
If Our Lady tells us by living Her messages we can begin to experience Heaven upon earth even
Before we get there, are we then also already beginning to transcend time,
Beginning to live eternity before this passage from this life to the next?
Look at time.
Whose lives, though just mere specs in time, changed the whole world towards good?
Span the centuries.
Who are those who have left and continue to leave the greatest imprint towards good upon the ages?
It is God’s saints.
Even though their lives were brief, compared to a millennium,
It is their witness that lives not only in time,
But outside of time as well.
Everything else passes, yes, even time will die.
Therefore, what you do along the way will make an imprint and when you go,
As the leaves today are green, tomorrow yellowed and gone, what remains is how you lived.
Not the lofty, illustrious and elevated, but the meek and humble will be remembered
Throughout eternity, passing love from one heart to another, generation after generation,
Until the last man draws his last breath,
Touched by you, transcended into eternity.
Do look at time, as ages after ages slide by, oh man, and begin to live eternity now,
Not bound by time, as one is not bound to this world.
As Our Lady said, by living Her messages we will not feel the passage
From this life to the next, so too, we will also begin transcending time
Into eternity while still upon the earth by our holy lives and virtues,
All of which are recorded for ages to come,
Even if hidden and known only by the angels who record them forever.
Every virtuous act will be known through eternity by all, when all ages pass.
The passage through time and beyond has only one key to unlock it.
Love.
Yes, Love…Not human love,
Rather Love “expressed” by “obedience” to all God’s Commandments.
For if love saves, obedience preserves, not only in time,
But when time is no longer.

Think…

What would you trust? The sentiments and intuition of those who are praying, fasting, and sacrificing, or the sentiments of those who are not? Why is it that the prayerful sense the “time” of waiting is closing down for Our Lady’s plans to manifest just as Simeon and Anna, who were the prayerful of their time, sensed the Messiah was close at hand? But with Our Lady’s plans today, however, much depends upon you. Peace or unpeace in these times is in your hands. The new book, Look What Happened While You Were Sleeping will show clearly how much peace we will experience in our time in the future, and it will depend upon you as an individual and the steps you take now.
