How to Make Love Known

How to Make Love Known

March 21, 2020 A.D.

Our Lady of Medjugorje said through Mirjana on March 18, 2020:

“I see that there is still love, and that one should endeavor to make it known…”

The question that can be asked right now is, how does one make love known, when many are not able to go anywhere?

Pilgrims at the Blue Cross on Apparition Mountain in Medjugorje

(Medjugorje photo taken May 2, 2019, 5:09 AM) – Two mothers with their babies sit behind the Blue Cross, waiting for Our Lady’s apparition to Mirjana, May 2, 2019. A Friend of Medjugorje used to carry his sons up and down the mountains for Ivan’s prayer groups at 10 o’clock at night, just so they would be blessed by Our Lady. In Medjugorje many have been a witness to Our Lady’s apparitions, from royalty to peasants, to mothers and fathers, priests, bishops and cardinals, babies and small children, every part of society has been blessed by Our Lady.

The children of Our Lady desire to fulfill Her desires. It is a great responsibility to carry out Our Lady’s words in a concrete way. But how does one spread love when they are confined to their homes? Medjugorje visionary Marija shares more:

…today, when preparing lunch I prayed a Rosary. We can pray during our work, cleaning house, taking the kids to school. I was in Mexico giving a testimony, and I was speaking to a Cardinal and a Bishop about this same thing. The Bishop said he remembered his own mother doing the very same thing. She prayed in this way during her whole life. She was the mother of twelve children and he said they never lacked for anything, but learned to pray at her knee. He said his mother would prepare meals for a blind neighbor. I repeat to you that Our Lady does not need us all to go to Africa to become missionaries but to live love in our own homes.

Witness Her Presence, August 11, 2010

In this time when many are confined close to home, we urge you to not waste away the opportunity to witness as a missionary to one’s own family. The history of Caritas is a Friend of Medjugorje’s witness in the family first, then it spread across the whole region, and across the whole world. This is a time to think more creatively, to be more inspired in our actions. You do not need to go to Africa or even down the street to spread love. The first place to “make it known” is the place right under your roof.

They say, one candle, in a room full of darkness, provides a great deal of light. Even a Friend of Medjugorje has mentioned this before, and just how far off in the distance a single candle can be seen glowing in the dark, so after we witness and pray with our family (if you have any with you), next you need to start taking your light to the darkest places, and earn your stripes. Wasn’t it Sun-Tse as Friend of Medjugorje has previously quoted who said: “If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.” Every day is an opportunity to “Learn our Enemy”, from the comfort of our homes, spreading love to those whom get thrashed by others bent upon being “Lying Voices” on the Internet. How many people could you possibly touch anywhere around the world while praying for them.
