Can we see how God loves in the world?

Our Lady of Medjugorje said on January 25, 1999:

The Lord God said to Noah:
“…I set My bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between Me and the earth…” Gen. 9:13
While it is beautiful to remember this promise of God to Noah, a promise we can visibly see on earth, we must also remember what brought about the covenant: the flood and punishment for sin. This is in the character of how God loves. A Friend of Medjugorje wrote:
“…Sacred Scripture reveals that we (His People) are loved by God so deeply that when we stray from Him, He draws us back in a way that Israel’s history reveals so many times… It is important to understand that a parent is most demanding of his own children. God is no different of His own people as His children. They are His first reflection of light and His love and obedience. The Christian life is supposed to be as potent as salt, which keeps preserved that which is prone to decay, as with meat preserved by salt. In this case, society (the meat) has gone by way of reprobates because the salt (Christians) has gone flat. Who is to blame – those perverse sinners (meat) or the Christians (salt)?”

An examination of conscience and confession of sin is in order. The world is under judgement, its ways are under judgement and be assured that God is already acting. All that is a false glitter, every high altar to every idol will be torn down. Prayer is necessary in order to be enlightened as to what has to change in our lives, and to be in God’s truth. When the storm of judgement clears, peace will follow…
