For the first time ever, last Christmas, Medjugorje visionary Marija heard the Infant Jesus speak. Our Lady gave no 25th message. Marija was left only with the Infant Jesus’ words:
 

December 25, 2012

“I am your peace, live my commandments.”

Our Lady came on December 2, 2013 and told us we are ceaselessly wandering and lost. Our Lady has come to make Jesus known to birth the rebirth of a world that is filled with millions of laws when He, the Messiah Infant, stated to obey the 10 Laws of God; profound in simplicity yet the answer to the entire world’s rebirth. We must make Him and His message known, and that is Our Lady’s message.

The founder of Caritas has for over 27 years made this commitment to Our Lady and to Her Son, Jesus. This is the reason why so many spiritual materials and truths are shared and distributed free of charge, so that souls may cease wandering and find the guiding star that will take them to the Little Child in the arms of His Mother, as what once had guided the magi from the east, who too were wandering. Medjugorje.com is part of that outreach for wandering and lost souls. We ask you to please support this work with your prayers and generosity. For three years we have not made an annual appeal for funding, relying on those Core-group members who have committed 14 cents a day to assist us in this work. In those three years, we have greatly expanded the capacity of Medjugorje.com, and in keeping with our founder’s philosophy of good stewardship, at the same time we are always trying to decrease our need for cash – looking for ways to be more efficient. However, this doesn’t erase the need for cash in order to operate.

This expansion of Medjugorje.com has caused several functioning areas to stop working in the past year, particularly the donation system and the mej-mart. This has caused some ‘non-function’, meaning people trying to make donations could not, or those trying to update their donation information could not do so, and those trying to place orders in the mej-mart could not place their order, etc. For the past several months in particular, we have been working tirelessly to bring everything back into order and function. Some of you may have noticed these issues, and because of this ‘non-function,’ we have had a decrease in funding base, mainly because people could not make donations or update their donation information. We have had to decrease our budget in critical areas for expansion and spiritual projects. A small example of one area in particular, is $2,500 a month on Google search, dedicated to advertising in various places to capture new blood for Medjugorje. This is advertising. when you Google certain topics covering areas concerning marriage and divorce, family, strife. etc. and many other unconventional areas. This amounts to about $31,000 a year towards new people being exposed to Medjugorje, which we’ve had to greatly decrease. This advertising was aimed in particular for people who would never have heard of Our Lady before. What this amounts to, is a great loss of souls. We hear many stories from people who had found a saving grace for their marriage, by finding out about Medjugorje through the site, and in places they would never have thought to find it. Also, we have heard from people who did not even want to live anymore, but found a grace of new hope for their lives, after having discovered Medjugorje through this method of advertising. One story of the many in particular, was a mother whose son was headed to perdition. With an anguished heart, she awoke one night at 3 AM and went to her computer and typed in, “God, please help me.” Our website immediately came up. We know this happened by a miracle of grace. She read and learned about Caritas and Medjugorje – having never heard anything about it before. This resulted in a walk towards conversion for her family and son. One day A Friend of Medjugorje will write about their story, because Our Lady wedded together an amazing story that only She could have orchestrated. Again, this is just one small example of how our founder has always looked for unconventional ways to bring hearts to Our Lady. We need to return to this budget, along with the budgets for many other areas of expansion, for the purposes reaching a new harvest of souls.

Medjugorje.com Attacked

For the first time in 6 years since our launch, Medjugorje.com was attacked five times this year, and though no information was lost or stolen, A Friend of Medjugorje was particularly concerned that our donation system was not secured enough. So in order to maintain our philosophy of strict security, we have finished the new donation system that is not only more secure, but easier to use and more streamlined. There are also many more spiritual projects, very meaningful and useful, that we want to release. Some new areas of Medjugorje.com are ready, waiting to be filled with content. Other areas are still being developed. One item that many people have told us about, was that while listening to Radio WAVE, they would often be struck by what A Friend of Medjugorje had said, and would want to skip back to listen again. Previously, this was not easily done, so you may have noticed the new Radio WAVE player launched December 2, 2013, only days ago, that now allows you to skip back more easily.

We are praying to start 2014 strongly in a position to not have to ask for money, but to rely on your commitment of 14 cents a day, in order to keep Medjugorje.com free to the world’s population. This will also be dependent on new donators. We pray that many more users will commit to the 14 cents per day to keep Medjugorje.com growing and free to all. We ask you to invite your Medjugorje friends to sign on to this 14 cents per day donation. Those who support this work know that you will not find ‘articles’ on the site, but rather spiritual nourishment, direction, epistles of Our Lady’s messages for today’s world. A website is an empty husk, and is filled with what is behind it. Medjugorje.com is backed by a mission of 27 years, and a founder and community committed through thick and thin, through easy times, trying times, persecution, for better or for worse, dedicated to Our Lady and Her messages.

So, this Christmas, remember the Mother and the Child in Her arms.
