Our Lady said one month ago through Marija on August 25, 2019:
“…Heaven will be grateful for your efforts and sacrifices…”
When considering making a sacrifice, one can forget that Heaven sees our efforts.
Medjugorje, September 15, 2019 – A pilgrim climbs Cross Mountain barefoot. Is it a sacrifice? Is it for a special intention? Atonement? No matter the reason, Heaven sees this effort made daily by pilgrims in Medjugorje.
When one considers making a sacrifice, it is easy to forget that Heaven takes notice. Medjugorje visionary Marija shares more about Our Lady teaching them to make sacrifices:
You can see pictures of the six of us kneeling in the Church during the early days of the apparitions. It was hard because we were not used to that. When we protested to Our Lady, She just smiled and asked us if we would sacrifice for a friend that may come to visit us. Would we be willing to prepare for the visit through hard work? She said She wanted Jesus to become our greatest friend, and no sacrifice was too great for Him. Our Lady told us to spend more time with Him so He could become our greatest friend. Slowly we got used to sacrifice.
