We wish to pay special honor to God – Our Father on this Father’s Day. Dear Father, may our hearts be open more and more to Your Love and Your Holy Will in our lives. May we always see God in everything that we do and everything we experience. And may we continuously grow in gratitude and love for His unconditional love for each of us. We also wish to express our love and gratitude for all the fathers in the world. Our prayers are with each of you, that you may continue to lead your families, through God’s guidance, along the path of holiness.

The following is an interview that Vicka gave that helps us to fall more deeply in love with God, the Father.

Question: How do you see God in the world?

Vicka: When you see a bird, it is God our Father who gives us that bird. When you eat some fruit, God our Father has given us the tree. He sustains the tree and it bears fruit. That fruit is served to us by God. All we have to do is eat it. Do we say, “Thank you, God, your grapes are delicious?” When we hear the bird sing, we know the bird belongs to God. It is here for our enjoyment. When it sings it praises God. The bird has no choice. It was made by God to obey Him. So were we. But we have a choice! We can love God and thank Him and enjoy His whole earth, which He gives us. That is prayer with the heart.

Question: So to see God’s gifts to us, and to acknowledge them, is to pray with the heart.?

Vicka: To experience God’s gifts is to experience God. God sustains us. He looks at each one of us day and night. He knows us; He made us for Himself. He longs to communicate with us.

Question: What can we do to expedite this communication?

Vicka: Listen to Him. Look at Him. Obey Him. Return His love.¹

Vineyards in Medjugorje – Harvesting of the grapes is a beautiful time to be in Medjugorje. The beauty of the vineyards loaded with the fruit that God has blessed and provided is a beautiful backdrop to contemplating God and all the blessings we receive from Him.
