Fulfillment of the Plans

Fulfillment of the Plans

October 13, 2020 A.D.

“I invite you to renunciation for nine days so that with your help everything I wanted to realize through the secrets I began in Fatima may be fulfilled…”

Our Lady Queen of Peace of Medjugorje, August 25, 1991

As we come to the end of these 9 days of fasting, we have heard from many across the world who have witnessed miracles in their lives. Many, who thought they could not fast have told of how easy this 9-day fast was, and how quickly it went by. Others were praying for a healing of heart. But, the end of this 9-day fast is not the “end” of something, but rather, the beginning of fulfilling Our Lady’s plans. Part of Our Lady’s plan includes what Our Lady has done here at Caritas. A Friend of Medjugorje began a life of renunciation as Our Lady called him to, and in doing so, received in advance, what is still yet to be revealed to the world. In the Corona Vision, a Friend of Medjugorje wrote:

Many have the possibility of being a prophet, but God can only use those who open their hearts, pray and fast, and have no self-interest outside of God’s plans. It is to these souls that God gives His illuminations and only then, one can grasp a vision and define it…

Tabernacle of Our Lady's Messages

(Caritas photo, October 13, 2020, 8:23 AM ) – The Tabernacle of Our Lady’s Messages, with open doors to welcome pilgrims. A Friend of Medjugorje opened his heart and home to tens of thousands of pilgrims through the years. Caritas of Birmingham supports his work and next week, will be hosting a guided pilgrimage to Caritas.

Next week, we will be hosting a pilgrimage to Caritas of Birmingham, October 19 – 23. There is still room to join. In this special guided pilgrimage, pilgrims will see many of the places, and be told many of the stories that are not told or shown to the public. These places and stories about a Friend of Medjugorje, his walk with Our Lady, and how he opened himself to God’s plans without self-interest, are a prophetic glimpse of where Our Lady is leading the world, in the fulfillment of Her plans. Space on this Caritas pilgrimage is limited, but, there is still some space available. Contact Caritas in the U.S. at 205-672-2000, extension 218 or 219. Or, click here to request information.

  1. In 1999 an interview by Niels Christian Hvidt, appeared with then Cardinal Ratzinger. “The title of prophetess in the patristic tradition is Mary’s supreme title. It is in Mary that there is a precise definition of what prophecy really is, that is, this intimate capacity to listen to, perceive, feel, that allows one to sense the consolation of the Holy Spirit, accepting him within oneself, making him fruitful, bringing him fruitful into the world…Mary has always been seen by the Fathers of the Church as the archetype of the Christian prophet and it is from her that the prophetic line comes then to enter into the history of the Church.” He said, “…prophets are the ones who bring out Christianity’s dimension of hope. They are the channels of access to what must still come to pass &, therefore, allowing us to go beyond time to attain what is essential & definitive.” Prophecy slows eventual events, while Truth is Gradually Revealed. Repentance=Opportunity + Change for Future Events.

  3. This is the end of my nine day fast. I prepared for this and prayed for the ability to complete the fast. I am 68 years old, blessed with good health and I will say have unbelievably easy this was. I have felt very good the entire time. I am totally amazed how quickly the time went. I will also declare that I felt the hand of Our Lady and the Holy Spirit during this time in making some very importfinancisl decisions and felt that I was saved from a near-fatal automobile accident. I unintentionally put myself in grave danger while driving with 2 of my grandchildren and truly believe it was divine intervention that protected us from being run over. I will cherish this time & the Novena and plan to do a day of fasting on a weekly basis for Peace and Our Lady’s wishes/plans and defeating satan in the future. Thank you to Caritas for this opporttunity. I was blessed to visit the Caritas Community this summer and it has changed my life.

  4. I too, want an open heart which is pure and holy. An open heart which is pure tends to only have eyes for God. Take care and have a wonderful pilgrimage hopefully many conversions or to deepen their conversion. God Bless to all love Joanne
