Why 2,000 years ago did the Christian martyrs prevail and win over their enemies, while we today cannot prevail in the coliseums of today’s society? Only a few stood in the coliseums while throngs looked and hissed at them, yet they prevailed over the pagans’ darkness and conquered. Why did they change insurmountable numbers of people and we cannot? Can we not overcome darkness? Can we take our Nation back? This age has not understood that the present weakness of Christians parallels the growth of and loss of religious freedom, and oppression by government. Does this generation even understand government’s role? We are experiencing what happens when we forget our role as Christians, and government’s role. Simply, those early Christian martyrs were living their faith, and their lives were a living witness, a testimony of Christian principles. They had power we do not possess.

“How is it that the same darkness we see today in general society was not able to cast its darkness over the light of Christians of bygone days? And yet today, the Christian light is overshadowed by darkness. By their very nature, when Christian principles are lived, it is an impossibility for the light of Christ not to shine and overpower darkness. A contradiction then exists because if we are truly the light, we would be lighting up the darkness. So the truth is that the prevailing darkness is a testimony against US, not against darkness. We are now disabled, paralyzed, and unable to act. Thankfully, there is an uprising among people of the Judeo/Christian faiths who are discontented with the godlessness of our nation and its present political system. We, therefore, must put our own house in order and be active and ready to seize the moment that God gives us to take back America and place it back on the foundation of our Fathers’ dreams, our Fathers who first gave us this “homeland.”

I went to Hobby Lobby today to support them. God was working because I couldn’t get over the cars in the parking lot. All check-stands were busy. Praise God.
I have sent this notification to each and every Catholic that I know. Plus, I shopped at Hobby Lobby on line.
Dear Caritas, Thank you for your inspiration for us to be more proactive. I forwarded your e-mail to my contact list . I went to Hobby Lobby in Aurora, Illinois. Met the store manager, gave a book to him, and also my calling card if he got more questions. While in the store met some of our parishioners to whom I forwarded the e-mail. God bless, Art
David Green,a true “David vs.Goliath” (Obama) Went ASAP to our local Hobby Lobby and hand delivered a copy of “They Fired the First Shot 2012” to the manager. We told him we supported everything his CEO stood for. This young man said working there felt like he was in church everyday. He said he witnesses and expresses his faith every day. He was very interested in book and said he would pass along to all managers at district meeting. We will buy gift cards for family/ friends at Hobby Lobby.
I have shopped at Hobby Lobby, and have told them, that I am totally in agreement with them for NOT being open on Sundays…the Lord’s Day… as stated in God’s Third Commandment. I keep their perseverance to this policy in my prayers.

I have just listened to your Mejanomics show of 3rd January. Tomorrow, 5th January, I will pray for the success of the public support of Hobby Lobby CEO David Green, and his staff. The imposition of a health bill that forces the negation of an individuals religious conscience, in order to pay for an abortion pill, is an evil which must be fought. May Almighty God bless all involved in this fight, and may He bless all at Caritas and all of the United States.

I totally agree with you. We are going to be deprived of our homes, bank accounts, and everything we have. We will be poor & homeless on the street, or in Jail, unless we pray our Rosary like crazy, attend Mass every day, and do whatever we can to defeat this one person at a time. Become Apologists ASAP and know your faith inside and out so you can answer ANY & EVERY criticism or objection. Know the Bill of Rights, the CONSTITUTION.

I actually posted on facebook about Hobby Lobby. I could not believe the feedback I was getting. Some were quite supportive, as for the other remarks, lets just care there are some very nasty people out there. It makes me quite sad.
After listening to Mejanomics today I emailed my Rosary making group and prayer group, family which total about 80 people. I advised them about going out and shopping at Hobby Lobby on Saturday. They are aware of Our Lady’s messages. I will continue to get the word out. Just thought these are simple but fast ways people can get the word out quickly. One case is going to our local Hobby Lobby this weekend if it makes it here on time and the other one is for our Msgr at Our Lady of Greenwood Church and then our Indianapolis Arch Bishop and Priests. Please pray for me because I am not sure what reaction I will be getting. God Bless

This morning after Mass my husband called our local Hobby Lobby store to ask if we could stand in front of their store on Sat with signs and information. I will go to Hobby Lobby this Saturday to show my support. I will call Emily Hartman of Hobby Lobby voicing my support. I have already told one Catholic friend who will also go to Hobby Lobby on Saturday. I hope to communicate with Mike Huckabee about this matter. I will pray, pray, pray. I am an Art teacher and have always been impressed with Hobby Lobby’s closed on Sunday policy etc. I will be there and get the word out as much a I can, especially in a city named after our Lord!
