Near the beginning of the project in early June to bring Mej v3.0 online, a Friend of Medjugorje found an old Rosary novena in a drawer, which the Caritas Community had prayed over 17 years ago. As a Friend of Medjugorje read the words of the novena, which spoke of the season of spring, growth, weeds, and giving Our Lady control of our lives, he knew that Our Lady had placed it before him, now 17 years later, at the end of the season of spring because it was meant to be prayed during this time.
The Caritas Community just finished this novena, which was a 54-day Rosary Novena. The novena also included several spiritual exercises each day, which in the midst of such a large project as bringing Mej v3.0 online as well as the campaign plea, it took much determination to complete each day. Yet the community felt great joy in striving to grow in holiness during a time when many would say that there was every excuse to pray less because of the work.
How much joy then did the Community feel when Our Lady said on July 25, just two days after the Novena finished:
Having just come out of the 54-day Rosary Novena, we knew that Our Lady heard our prayers and continues to see our actions every day. Our Lady’s words were so, “pleasant” to read. Also, the determination and faithful support of so many who are sending notes of encouragement as well as prayers during this time, can again only be described by the word Our Lady Herself used, “pleasant.”
We are continuing to pray each day for all those who are praying and donating to bring Mej v3.0 online. Please be faithful and determined in prayer and sacrifice for many to step forward and give, especially during this time of the matching donation. This is important to bring online soon. A wavering and unfaithful world is in great need. Thank you and God Bless!
