Being challenged and facing the challenge, requires courage. Our Lady of Medjugorje said on October 2, 2018:

“…I am calling you to be courageous…”

Today, we begin the 9-day fast on bread and water, for the Beginning of the Reign of Our Lady. A Friend of Medjugorje has often said that the hardest part of any major decision, is the decision itself. Be courageous, all those joining in this fast, and those who have not yet decided.

For all those joining in the fast, you are part of something bigger than yourself. Jesus began His mission by fasting and prayer. Following in His footsteps gives one power, the power of a deep spirituality. Our Lady said on October 2, 2018:

“…to follow in His footsteps, means to have a wealth of spirituality…”

As one empties their hearts during these days of fasting, one becomes poor in spirit, and is filled with wealth – promised by the truth of Our Lady’s words. Believe them, you who are joining in this fast. Become wealthy and receive the promise of Our Lady’s words of October 2, 2018:

“…This is the wealth which gives good feelings…”
