A Friend of Medjugorje Speaks Across France

“… I desire to call you, and to call all the youth, to participate in the evangelization today of the world…”

Over the years, A Friend of Medjugorje has had several opportunities to visit France and witness on behalf of Our Lady of Medjugorje and Her messages. Those who have attended his talks have been touched by his love for France, his insights into France’s present condition and how he combines Our Lady’s words from Medjugorje with the spiritual richness of France’s history to shine forth hope into her future.

These series of talks, stand out among those given previously in France as A Friend of Medjugorje reveals new insights and echoes Our Lady’s recent message given on September 25, 2011 about the urgency of this time:

“…I call you, for this time to be for all of you, a time of witnessing. You, who live in the love of God and have experienced His gifts, witness them with your words and life…”

Cows, Truth, Untruth…and Our Lady’s Messages

This was the final talk given by A Friend of Medjugorje. For those who attended, this was a moving, tangible encounter with Truth; an experience of personal conversion with Our Lady through the experiences and witness of A Friend of Medjugorje. Throughout the talk, there were moments of laughter, followed by tears, and then laughter again. Many expressed their renewed hope for France, hope for renewal of the Church and experienced a reinvigoration of love for Our Lady and Medjugorje.

“Well, I’d like to start by thanking you for being here. It’s a joy for me to be back in France. I’ve spoken in the ‘90s many times across France and have been invited through the years, but was not able to come because we were building our mission, so I had to stop traveling. I’ve come to talk to you about the message and to do that I’m going to start talking about cows. (laughter) When a baby calf is born, for two or three days only, on the back of the calf is this fur and it curls. How it curls and the size of the curl and how thick it is determines how much butter fat the cow is going to have, how long it will milk, the quality of the milk, and the longevity of the calf and many other things. After two or three days the pattern in the fur disappears. The guy who discovered these things was a Frenchman. He wrote a book in the 1600s and in that book he wrote in the front of it, in the beginning of the book, that “errors travel at the velocity of light. They know no bounds and no obstacles and they’re accepted by all.” On the other hand, he wrote, that “what’s right is persecuted, opposed, every obstacle put in its way, is ridiculed and mocked.”

A Dr. Lister from Scotland in the 1700s began to observe that while advances in surgery were increasing, many who came to the hospitals began to lose their lives just from being there. So he tried to figure out why this was happening. And I think it was in France that there were piles of garbage. He noticed that they were putting carbonic acid on this garbage, and the smell went away. And so he started reasoning, “What if we are more sanitary during our operations?” And he began to make sure all the linens were clean for the surgeries that had been using the same instruments one after another, the same linens, dirty tables soaked in blood from previous surgeries. So he required the nurses to clean everything every time, clean linens, clean surgical instruments. If a mother was giving child birth, they used hot water, clean linens etc. The mortality rate went down. They started saving people and the percentage increase of lives being saved was incredible. Other doctors began to oppose him. They began to mock him. They said he was crazy. At social events he was ostracized. They even got the nurses that worked with him to stop doing what they were doing. He always had to fight them and insist that they keep things clean. He was even relieved of his duties over a section of the hospital. Pilate is standing in front of Jesus and he asks Him a question. Jesus says He is the Truth and Pilate said, “What is the truth? The Frenchman who wrote the book about the cattle was mocked, persecuted, not because of who he was, and the same with Dr. Lister…but because they both found truth. The holy Virgin Mary of Medjugorje said, “God is the Truth; He exists.” Wherever there’s truth there will be opposition. And so this explains, when you go to Medjugorje, you convert, change the direction of your life, suddenly those people you thought would be for you are against you. The cattleman was only trying to show the truth of what God had put there, the blueprint on the back of the calf. satan hates Truth! That explains why so many of you are suffering, why you have difficulties because when you step toward truth, you will have opposition. You will be mocked, ridiculed, shunned, think you’re nuts, that you’re even a nut. But remember every mighty oak was once a nut…

Another excerpt from the same talk…

“…So we saw coming over here tonight a good example of truth and untruth. We saw a protest, people in the street carrying signs, policemen guarding them, maybe 1000 people. And they’re all protesting with the signs that said, “Fur is torture! Fur is torture!” I began to laugh. We all were laughing. And, of course, they were talking about fur coats and rabbits and these kinds of things that will be killed for this and they said, “Fur is torture.” And some people might say they’re right. But what is truth? What is truth when you’re wearing leather shoes that once had fur on them(referring to the fact that many of the protesters were wearing leather shoes.) (laughter) And many have had leather shoes on! (more laughter) All you’ve got to do is look for truth and you see it! We saw one woman with fur right here on her neck. (laughter) I thought to myself, “How many of you have had abortions?” So truth is not accepted, but untruth is. And perhaps some people look on and say, well maybe I accept it. I reject what they’re saying! So have any of these protesters ever eaten beef? What happened to that cow’s hide? So we’re filled with contradictions. Our Lady’s come to bring us to Truth, as She said in a message, let “…your life be true before God…” “…live His commandments…”
