Early Monday evening November 1st, many pilgrims gathered at the Blue Cross to pray in preparation for the Second of the Month Apparition to Mirjana. It was a warm evening, and many people came to pray the Rosary followed by Litanies to the Saints. There were Croatian, Italian, English, and Polish prayers heard at different times during the night. Many young people gathered to sing and pray before the statue of Our Lady at the Blue Cross.
As the early morning was mixed with clouds and clear sky, it looked as if rain could occur. Showers did come and lasted only a few minutes. One had just enough time to put on a poncho, or put up an umbrella. The wet weather continued as Mirjana arrived.
Mirjana knelt in front of the Blue Cross. She made the Sign of the Cross and began to pray. Our Lady’s arrival was apparent by the expression on Mirjana’s smiling face. She soon moved her hands apart with her palms facing inward and then together as if in serious prayer. She squinted her eyes as if to focus better on what Our Lady was telling her.
Mirjana closed her hands, that were wrapped with her rosary, together and continued to seriously look at Our Lady. Pilgrims continued to arrive up to apparition time, which lasted close to five minutes.
The rain began again, and the descent from the Blue Cross became difficult as the pilgrims carefully stepped over the smooth, slippery stones that are worn by so many feet during these 29 years of apparitions. Crowds of people clogged the path to the street and large numbers walked through the vineyards and fields toward the Church.

We all know morally the world is bankrupt. The financial institutions commit the crime of usury. The economic system is programmed to chase money causing the love of money for even those who do not realize their longing for it and the amount of time and effort they spend in pursuit of it. Scripture says, “No one can serve two masters. For either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other.” Whichever one you love, money or God, is the one you spend the most time pursuing. The system traps the earth’s inhabitants in spending the priority of their time in pursuing money and material things. But you respond, “Life is geared around our need for money.” This is why Our Lady comes and says She wants to illuminate your heart with light. Our Lady wants you to see what you cannot see at this moment. What can we not see?
The economic system that the world has integrated itself to and enslaved itself under drives this present darkness. To join the European union, governments receive a lot of money. To get a lot of money, the new members must accept abortion, abominable life styles and many other things orchestrated by the father of darkness. States in the United States, in order to receive money, must comply with federal regulations which force every institution to come under darkness even down to kindergarten classes in which the curriculum of books propagate both subtle and blatant darkness that would have scandalized even public sinners who lived 100 years ago.
We participate in a system covered in every respect with darkness. This darkness is so subtle that often man is unaware it is a part of him. Our Lady tells us: Stop! Can you just stop for a moment and look at yourself? What you are doing? What you participate in on a daily basis and how sinful it makes you? Our Lady, therefore, comes to change us. To change us means to change everything all around us. To change all that is around us means that which is darkness will thereby fall apart by ‘abandonment.’ That which does not will be finished off by the secrets. Don’t you see, O man? Life as we’ve known it, as we have built it, as we have structured it is about to be destroyed. The culture will die, becoming a past civilization. Yet, you stand there “weak and little” because you do not contemplate, or if you do, you do not take action to change not only your soul, but the physical way you live and are enslaved to. To put it plainly, the present order is on the brink of being destroyed. All life as we know it will change. If you refuse, if you delay and hesitate in this time of grace, if you wait around for a rescue from the present system of the world’s way, you will be destroyed and left destitute through its direction.
That new life which comes is a life where our daily pursuit, our effort in every part of our day will be to seek first, as our priority, the Kingdom of God. By doing this, we will become “strong and great.” Because by seeking the Kingdom of God, we will follow God’s will and it is God’s will that His people be a great people and that His enemies be weak and small. Ancient Israel’s history shows this principle. The early Church and the times when the Church flourished showed this strength throughout the centuries. When Israel or the Christian culture rejected God by following their own desires, rather than seeking God’s Kingdom, they became weak and little and they imploded by their own path of misery chosen.
When darkness is in the heart of man, darkness begins to prevail in the culture. When culture is filled with darkness, it seeps into every institution, every law, the government and economy. Once darkness permeates every institution it takes on a power of its own and then begins to control every aspect of life. It then enslaves the culture. This includes the greatest institution, the institution of the family. Man becomes powerless until he realizes it’s the darkness within his own heart that he must be cleansed from and that must be destroyed. When as an individual he does this, one to the next, the culture will follow. The power of darkness which from man’s heart grew into its own being, is now a powerful force lording over culture, and has now enslaved it. Man is now too weak to oppose it. But it is beginning to lose its grip upon man, one man at a time. It is then that the darkness, the ultra power which has grown into a monster in and of itself can no longer be fed from man’s heart and therefore be destroyed, breaking with it the bonds of slavery that shackled the culture. This present way of life of the world is on death row. It has received its death sentence. You can receive a reprieve from Our Lady and escape this sentence. Those that refuse to cleanse their heart will be destroyed with this present culture.
Now is the time of decision. Now is the time to get ready. Now is the time when Our Lady said:

This world is not going to continue as we know it. Do you understand what was just written? This world is not going to continue as we know it. Do you understand that your money, politics, power, influence will be useless? The world filled with this present darkness is about to be destroyed. Why? Because it is filled with darkness and the Light of Life is coming to illuminate every heart. The natural result is darkness will be gone in regards to the culture, for when there is light, there is no darkness. Yes, on a sunny day you can see darkness in the shadow of trees and the world will always have some darkness, but it will no longer be the driving force. Rather, he, man, will be driven by first seeking the Kingdom of God “and all things will be given you besides.” In this time of grace, you can do this now. You can make a decision now. You can live what the future will be now. It is Our Lady’s way for you. Our Lady asked for a community to be established here in Alabama. The community She asked for in 1988 is a window of the future. It came to be through a ‘yes’ given to Our Lady. Our Lady then birthed it. It thrives through first seeking the Kingdom of God. This time is an opportunity for you. If you don’t pray, do not choose to change your direction now, you will be attached to the darkness which is ordained to soon be destroyed and eventually everything around it.
Your method is simple but difficult. Give your heart to Our Lady Queen of Peace and follow Her messages of Medjugorje. She wants to purify and cleanse it. Our Lady will illuminate what you are to do. But remember, as Our Lady says, “…be aware of your sins…” and how sinful you are means to understand what darkness is.
* Do you participate in usury?
* Do you accept abominable lifestyles?
* Do you not accept but tolerate abominable lifestyles as a choice that others can make?
* Do you accept that others have a choice to decide for abortion even if you do not believe it right personally?
* Do you accept the dissolution of marriage through divorce?
* Do you not accept it but tolerate it throughout the culture, in your own or extended family or friends?
* Have you ever recommended or supported divorce?
This list can go on for many pages. A yes to any one of these questions places you in the context of what Our Lady is saying today. “Do not reject me, my children. Stop and look within yourselves and see how sinful you are. Be aware of your sins and pray for forgiveness.” Our Lady comes today because man is weak and little. Yet, man thinks he is strong and great. Man is going to be shown how weak and little he is. Only if man can become aware of the darkness is his heart, seek and do God’s will, can he then become strong and great. Allow Our Lady to cleanse your heart. Seek and do God’s will and then you can become strong and great. You have an opportunity, unprecedented in Christendom, to be guided directly by the “Mother of Christ” who will persevere with Her love to save you.

Early morning in Medjugorje, November 2, 2010, as crowds await Mirjana’s appearance and Our Lady’s apparition. Cross Mountain can be seen in the background, and in the foreground is the base of the Blue Cross and Our Lady’s statue where Our Lady will appear in a few hours to Medjugorje visionary, Mirjana. Though typically November is a quieter month in Medjugorje, with the feasts of All Saints and All Souls, great hordes of pilgrims entered the village over the past few days. To get into the inner circle by the Blue Cross to have the chance to see Mirjana’s face for the apparition, people now arrive the evening before. Caritas community members with some of their pilgrim group arrived at the Blue Cross at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st for Our Lady’s November 2nd apparition that took place at approximately 8:40 a.m. this morning. They were together with several hundred other people, the numbers of which continued to increase more and more every hour. They settled down for what seemed would be a rainy night. However, the temperature was mild and though rain did come, it was intermittent and mostly just sprinkles.
Mirjana has just arrived the morning of November 2, 2010. Her husband Marco, to the right of the photo, holds rosaries in his hand for Our Lady’s blessing. Every apparition Our Lady blesses religious articles. Over the past 29 years tens of millions of blessed objects, rosaries, medals, statues, and pictures have left the village of Medjugorje and brought to every corner of the earth. What does this blessing mean not just to the people who carry these priceless treasures, but to the earth itself that must also be sanctified wherever these articles pass? A touch of Our Lady sent all over the globe that the devil cannot prevent. Our Lady has spoken of the importance of wearing blessed objects and having blessed objects in our homes.

Before Our Lady’s apparition today, November 2, 2010, Mirjana enters into prayer, signaling all those around her to also ready themselves, quiet their hearts, to receive their Mother. From the inner circle, this quietness spreads to the very outer rim of the tens of thousands gathered. This happens quickly, in just a matter of minute or two, at the most. It can be difficult at that moment—in the cold, in the rain, on rocky ground, packed tightly together—to free the spirit from the groaning of the flesh, but Our Lady’s presence when She comes, at least for those brief moments, has some power to overcome human nature and souls are pierced with Her love, Her strength, Her healing. There is a “knowing” amongst those gathered, that their Mother is truly among them.
Our Lady came with the rain, today, as umbrellas popped open just as Mirjana’s head came up in a smile to signify that the apparition had begun. Could we say the rain was the tears of Our Lady, after reading Her message today? Italian mystic, Maria Valtorta, was shown in the life of Jesus, that after He was taken down from the cross, the only washing His body received was through the tears of His Mother. Mary washed Her Son’s body with Her tears, cleaning the blood, dirt, spit, and the foul matter thrown at Him on the way to Calvary—all this that our sins caused Him. Let Our Lady’s tears, then cleanse us as well—so that our hearts darkened with sin, may become lanterns of light illuminating Her Son to the world.
Mirjana spreads her arms out to Our Lady in what is her normal way of greeting Our Lady in her second of the month apparitions. One wonders if Mirjana has seen this gesture from Our Lady before. Was this humble gesture the same one Mary used when the Angel Gabriel appeared to her announcing that She would bear the Savior of the world?
Our Lady’s departure is captured on Mirjana’s face, yet again. Can we not put Mirjana’s face in the crowd the day of Jesus’ ascension and capture a little bit the wonderment, mixed with sadness, of His departure? Can we not meditate a little on the great gift that is ours in knowing that though Our Lady has departed on this day, November 2, 2010, that She still will come tomorrow to Marija & Ivan & to Vicka to bless the world. That Jakov will see Her on Christmas Day and Ivanka on June 25th. That Mirjana will see Her again next month on December 2nd and receive a new message. That Marija will be given a message on November 25th—and so on, and on. Yes, one day these apparitions will end. But for today, Our Lady is still with us. Let us rejoice and be glad.

My dear brothers and sisters, I have to say that I have been put in trials in my workplace, my family, and even in my church. I just want to say that sometimes it takes us time to see the truth, but like our brother in this article, we hear the calling to holiness in God. My prayer is for us to pray to our priests and appreciate them so that they may obtain the works of the Holy Spirit through them, and by that encourage us and guide us to the Lord.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters I was not so Amazed as I was pleased to hear that my Brother chose God first. I to have a story to tell. I was in Vietnam during the tet offensive and I was afraid was going to die, I told GOD if he would save my life I would go to Mass every day for one year in thanksgiving for saving my life. God saved my life and I went to Mass every day for one year. This was in 1969, I went to Mass from 1969 to 1970 every day. When my year was up, I could not stop going to Mass. I had developed such a LOVING RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD I can never stop going to MASS daily.I can not exist without going to receive the Eucharist. My Love for GOD is overpowering I Love Him so much He is what I live for every day. In the Eucharist God drawers you to Himself through His LOVE for you a LOVE so great you can not exist without HIM. I am so happy I live to receive the Eucharist every day. The Materialistic of this world are insignificant GOD must come first.
This story has really touched my heart! It is as if its the answer to the debates that used go on in my head. Because I have recently moved to an area where attending mass is not a major problem, so I told myself that I would attend mass everyday, but somehow I found an excuse to only go 3 days out of 5 as mass is not early in the morning and I don’t have to wake up early on those days! BUT this story, really has told me not to be lazy, and I KNOW NOW that God is calling me and I’m going to go to mass everyday, with no excuse! When possible.Thank You for such a beautiful message. Thank you for sharing your experience! I was healed from cancer by attending daily Mass and a good friend praying over me. Mother Mary was a big part of it since I was having Marian Movement of Priests Cenacles in my home every week at the time. Praise God.
This is a personal message for me. I did not attend mass on Easter Sunday because of my own fault. I feel so guilty and ashamed of my actions. This article is an eye opener and it will make me realize how important it is to forget worldly things and make time for our Lord.

I am glad to hear the wonderful works of the Holy Eucharist. Thanks to the Almighty God for his works to enable you to lead us and unerstand the importance of Holy Mass and The Blessed Eucharist. My request is to please pray for me that i may as well experience that greatness but am not receiving the Sacraments because am in a marriag which is not blessed. Pray for me to Mother Mary that i may come out of this sinnful marriage and be able to receive our Lord Jesus Christ plus the Sacraments. My question for advice is that if i do not receive the Sacrament of Penance, where and how should i repent. I feel am thrown out however much i attend Mass without these Sacraments. Please advise me. Yes, i would like to share the holy thursday i went to the chapel with my husband. it was a good experienced to listen to gods prayers. then on Saturday it was easter vigil. it was my first experienced to listen and be until 5.30am morning we all had a wonderful breakfast at one of the popular restaurant..thanks and praise god for all his goodness.

This message touched me. It also rebuked me. Last Sunday I went to Palm Sunday Mass and left early after receiving Communion because the church was packed and I used the excuse I was visiting friends.
With The Almighty God all things are possible…Give God first place in your life…. find time to worship and glorify Him everyday. To be one chosen to attend the Sacrifice of the Mass – The banquet of the Lord is only from God – how blessed is the one who participates in the Holy Sacrifice of the MASS… the Masses we attend while we are living is the greatest blessing…I pray that the Almighty Lord always invite me to His Banquet while I am on this earth and to be obedient to His Mighty will. The Masses we attend and the Rosaries we recite will be our consolation and joy in our last moments. Glory to God our Living and Mighty One and to our Mother who intercedes for us. Amen

AMAZING !!! There is nothing more important in faith and devotion to our Lord .Jesus has worked miracles for many times and I knew immediately that it was the blessing from the Lord coming to me. I love and have faith that when I call on Him He will be there.
Yes in my experience the most important gift in life is the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ to wash away all our sins, the strength gotten through Mass is complete and cannot be compared to anything else. We do have the opportunity to confess direct to Jesus and attending Mass is a positive step to getting close to Jesus. We do need to tell others about the power of Jesus in the Mass most of all today after the Resurrection to have a positive attitude knowing He is the Doctor and Healer more than medicines.

Yes. I believe in this story. I too have experienced similar situations. The Precious Body and Blood of Our Lord is to be Honored, Glorified, Praised and blessed now and forever in the Host and Wine offered at the Holy Mass. It is Jesus living amongst us. Glory to Almighty God.

I accepted, then went to a Benedictine Monastery for three days (I was an oblate of this Monastery when I lived in the USA) and was given a very special blessing by a very holy Priest. If I recall correctly, believe the Saint was a Benedictine, St. Marius (sic). The holy priest blessed me with a Cross that held a relic of the true Cross of Christ. My tumors were not visible during the CT scan. The words I prayed just prior to the scan, were; THY WILL BE DONE. The holy Priest (who is now in Heaven) asked me, ‘Sandi, what would you say to your doctor, your friends, your family if they ask you to explain this? My answer … “it is what it is,” and Only God Knows.PAX

sometimes i make it to mass on a weekday because my boss let’s me. i work for the city government and she and i could probably both get into trouble. i sit in the first pew and leave w/the host in my mouth and immediately drive back to work. my lunch is only half an hour. it bothers me to leave so i related to this story and enjoyed it. i will be retiring in three months so perhaps i can do a better job of getting to mass. my husband is not catholic though and he will be retiring too. plus, i am lazy. getting to mass is always a chore to me, but once i get there, i’m soooo glad i came??? thanks for the article. i must mention that i want to come for at least one day to mirjana’s visit w/Mary but without even delving into the subject, i here such negative things about caritas in birmingham that i’m carrying doubt around in my subconscience and haven’t made the arrangements. it’s ewtn and a priest in medjugorje.
sometimes i make it to mass on a weekday because my boss let’s me. i work for the city government and she and i could probably both get into trouble. i sit in the first pew and leave w/the host in my mouth and immediately drive back to work. my lunch is only half an hour. it bothers me to leave so i related to this story and enjoyed it. i will be retiring in three months so perhaps i can do a better job of getting to mass. my husband is not catholic though and he will be retiring too. plus, i am lazy. getting to mass is always a chore to me, but once i get there, i’m soooo glad i came??? thanks for the article. i must mention that i want to come for at least one day to mirjana’s visit w/Mary but without even delving into the subject, i here such negative things about caritas in birmingham that i’m carrying doubt around in my subconscience and haven’t made the arrangements. it’s ewtn and a priest in medjugorje.
What a wonderfull testimony to the Mass and Eucherist.. I believe it is in knowing this and sharing, that it is given for this time of Grace. Jesus could have taken him directly to Heaven but chose to bless us all with his sharing.
Praise God for his awesome mercy and love and for all the miracles he performs daily through the Eucharist. As you all receive Jesus daily in the Eucharist, please mention my brother [John] to Jesus asking God to divinely heal him and bless him and his wife with children and those blessings which God alone can give. May God heal us all as we receive and adore Him in Holy Communion.
This is quite an incredible narrative of a real-life incident. It reminds me of the woman who was saved from rape, the night a man raped two women in the same locality – he saw 2 men walking either side of her (angels!). It also reminds me of the poor woman who offered up mass for two butchers – if the mass intentions weighed heavier than the meat, she received the meat for free. The paper with the mass intentions written down did weigh far heavier than the meat and the butchers not only gave her the meat for free, they were converted to God. One became a priest!The truly miraculous intervention of God, with His true healing, is with us all every time we receive The Holy Eucharist. Alleluia!

I really believe that this is true, you can feel it when you go to Holy Communion. There is definitely a difference in the way that you feel when you go to Confession and Holy Communion. It is the greatest gift of all.

The Holy Spirit was truly with him. He represented Jesus on the cross. Jesus did not try to defend himself. He did not argue or fight back. And God brought him back to us, this man.

This is so uplifting! I have been in the process of doubting the good received from the Mass. I try to attend each day but soon that will be limited as we (our parish) are being put into a mega parish engulfing our whole county and I am sure that daily Mass will not be available to me every day.I am so discouraged by the lack of attendance by our parishioners and the attendance at our daily rosary. This is truly a witness of the protection we receive when we put God first in our life. It is sadly true that we often get carried away by our worldly affairs instead of trusting God and giving Him our time, prayers, praise, and glory due Him. Oh, that we would always seek to live in His Divine Will! FIAT!
WHEN MY HUSBAND WAS WASTING PRECIOUS MONEY PLAYING THE LOTTERY WHEN IT COULD HAVE GONE TO PAY BILLS I PRAYED FAITHFULLY TO OUR LADY TO CURE HIM OF THIS WASTE. MY HUSBAND AND I PRAYED THE ROSARY EACH NIGHT FOR HELP AND OUR LADY ANSWERED OUR PRAYERS. MY HUSBAND THINKS ABOUT IT BUT NO LONGER IS CHAINNED TO ITS GRIP. HE KNOWS EVERYTIME HE GOES TO CONFESSION AND ADMITS THIS SIN HE ALSO RECEIVES COMMUNION UNDER FALSE PRETENTIONS AND NOW HE IS FREE FROM REPEATING THIS GRIEVIENCE AND RECEIVES OUR LORD FREE OF GUILT AS HE FINALLY PUT JESUS FIRST. AND I CAN PAY MY BILLS. INDEED MIRACLES HAPPEN THRU THE HOLY EUCHARIST.

“Can the Eucharist Save Your Life?” ?? In late June, I had just come out of Church and within 20 minutes after I had received the Eucharist, I was on my way home, I had totaled my car and came out of the accident with just a head concussion and some bruises and scratches. The Car was unrepairable, but on my way to the Trauma Center, I prayed to the Lord and the Most Blessed Mother for thanking them for sparing my life. I know that the Holy Eucharist was still within me when this happened and I believed that they saved me.
How very encouraging and uplifting to hear this story, Especially at this holy time of Easter.If we truly knew WHO we were receiving and could see how powerful Jesus works through this means, we would act so very differently. I think we will weep tears of sorrow when we see how flippantly we often treated Him without realizing it. Lord forgive us.
Praise Our Lord! Everything we owe; He is our Shepherd, Our Savior, He is love and this wonderful shared experience reminds us of the debt Jesus paid for us. I was present for the Oct. 2, 2010 apparition to Mirjana and was witness to the greatness of Our Lady’s presence. Her love and Her guidance is embedded within my heart and I pray for our world to convert, to pray and come back to Our Lord. I will carry Our Lady with me always and will share Her message with everyone I encounter. Mir in your hearts with prayer my brothers and sisters.
I feel very blessed to have climbed Apporition hill so, I enjoy what ever mrssages I can receive thru the computer. Beautiful aricle. I try so hard to give everything to Jesus and Mary. I sob nearly every day because of my ongoing 10 yr. trial. My husband of 51 yrs. young has Alzheimers. Now he cannot move his body, nor understand, nor speak, nor recognize me, he has started to choke even on thickend liquids he has a strong pain patch (constricted joints, etc) I love him so much. I Pray in his presence, have staff play rosary tape am forever devestated. Please pray for Mike and me. Praise Be Jesus.

The message really touched my heart and I pray to my beautiful mother for my brothers and children that they may come back to their faith and receive the light into their life. We are so blessed to be given these messages from Our Lady through Marija. My daily prayers include the conversion of hearts and souls to be open to Jesus’ love and mercy for there is so much falling away from the truth within our families and nations. Oh, how I wish that I could be there in Medjugorje with the other pilgrims. But I try to be satisgied with the memory of being at Caritas in the Field when Marjana had a vision a couple years ago. I felt Our Lady’s presence then and the next year when my husband and I returned to Caritas, even though the visionary wasn’t present. I am so grateful for the good works of Caritas, and eaxpecially of these years that Our Saviour has allowed His moother and Ours to help us to stay true to Her Son.

Thank you so much for sharing the precious messages Our Holy Mother has sent us. All of God’s children should hasten to listen! We MUST PRAY for all lost souls of this evil world. Pray for our enemies, for all those imprisoned because of crime, and especially for those in government. This is the ONLY way we can contribute.
