Many signs have been associated with the Medjugorje apparitions. For instance, Our Lady first appeared on June 24, the Feast of St. John the Baptist, the proclaimer of the coming Messiah. The following day, on June 25, the six visionaries came together as one cohesive group. It was no coincidence that on the previous day, several other children also saw Our Lady, but on this day, June 25, only the six would see Her, and it would remain that way. Why? These six, these visionaries were chosen in a special way, and even their names had special meaning. Vicka’s name means “life,” a sign of the new life that Our Lady was birthing the world into. Mirjana and Marija’s names mean “Mary,” which needs no explanation. Ivan and Ivankameans “John;” Our Lady first appeared on the feast of St. John the Baptist. And Jakov means “James;” the church in Medjugorje is St. James, patron of pilgrims. This is no coincidence, and is yet a testament that God, and only God could have arranged these events in the way they have been arranged.
Yet further, there is another sign, another sign that has just come to light. In a recent second of the month writing, Will You Be An Apostle?, A Friend of Medjugorje wrote of what the future may behold:
“There is a time coming, as Our Lady’s children, that those who have loved, who have forgiven and whose works have become prayer, will then achieve being an apostle. They will do miracles, miracles just as the first apostles of the early Church, as She said today:

“A small number in the infancy of the Church who converted sinners, healed the sick, cast out demons, whom Jesus had gathered to His Heart, within 300 years, took over the Roman Empire! This remarkable feat is to be duplicated today.”
Are we soon to see a time of miracles as in the early Church? Is there a connection with the infancy of the Church on Pentecost and what Our Lady is doing in Medjugorje today? Pause, pray and reason:
The Church was birthed on Pentecost in 33 A.D.
The Church is 1981 years old.
This is the 33rd anniversary of the Medjugorje apparitions.
Our Lady first appeared in… 1981.
“…apostles who will do everything they do in the name of the Lord…” (June 2, 2014)
Coincidence, or the Hand of God? Our Lady is coming to rebirth the Church. Pray and reason.

July 28 is the official start of WWI, but the event that triggered it was the assassination of Ferdinand in Sarajevo on June 28 (our cab driver who drove us from Medjugorje to Sarajevo on our way back to Rome in November showed us the street where it happened), and June 28 is the Memorial of the Immaculate Heart this year. Does it mean anything? We shall see.

June 28 is also the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary. From an excerpt about the feast I found on the University of Dayton website: “In 1942, the twenty-fifth anniversary of Fatima, Pope Pius XII consecrated the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. That same year, he assigned the feast day to August 22, the octave of the Assumption. On May 4, 1944, he extended the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary to the Universal Church. With the liturgical reforms of the Second Vatican Council in 1969, the feast was given a more suitable place on the day following the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. That is the Saturday after the second Sunday after Pentecost.”
“33 years As It Approaches” writing of the Friend of Medjugorje in Feb.6, 2014, made us decisive to be there in Medjugorje for this pivotal year anniversary. The number 33 is also significant for my husband and I, since last Dec 2013 was our 33 years wedding anniversary…the best place to renew our vows..surely providential…thank you for all your writings that make us Think and Act. Coincidence, or the Hand of God? Our Lady is coming to rebirth the Church. Pray and reason Yes Our Lady is coming. June 25th is the 33rd anniversary of the beginning of the apparitions. July 28 is the 100 anniversary of the beginning of WW1 which I believe is the beginning of the reign of Satan on earth. Many events are coming and not all for the good of man. I would truly love to be able to go to Medjugorje and pray everyday that God will find a way for me to go there. If I am meant to be a witness then that is His will and I accept whatever direction He chooses to send me for His Will be done.
