In August 2005, a Friend of Medjugorje organized the very first public celebration of Our Lady’s Birthday, including the vigil which he called, Mary’s Eve. Thousands joined together at Caritas of Birmingham, with Medjugorje visionary Marija for this special event. During the event, a miraculous happening took place, which is told in the documentary, Remember When It Rained. This year will be the 15th anniversary of this special public celebration.

We will be with you in prayer here in Virginia! Wish we could be there. Love to you all on this special day.?
I wish I could join you for the celebration. I was there in 2005 with my late husband. I remember it fondly. We were in the field for the vigil on August 4 late at night. As we were gazing at the stars over “Mary’s little house” one star starting moving up and down and sideways. I like to think it was an angel too excited to be still. God bless all of you.
