The apparitions of 2008 at Caritas continued when Marija and family along with the founder of Caritas and his family returned from being away for a private family retreat. They returned late on July 17. The apparitions had been taking place at 10:00 p.m. every night while they were gone. On the 17th, Our Lady said the next day’s apparition would be at the same time, and in the Bedroom. The Rosary began at 9:00 p.m. Following is Marija’s description of the apparition:
“Tonight when Our Lady came, I recommended all our intentions, in a special way those present here (in the Bedroom) and Our Lady prayed over us and She blessed us all. I asked also blessing for those in the Field and Our Lady blessed also those in the Field, and Our Lady blessed them and all objects brought for blessing.”
Marija said that Our Lady told her the apparition would be at the “Same time, same place,” for the next day’s apparition. We began posting on Caritas’ website, Medjugorje.com, that Marija would be here for a few more days encouraging everyone to take this last opportunity to be with Our Lady before Marija returned to Medjugorje.
During the past week, while Marija was gone, the Caritas Community continued meeting in the Bedroom each night to be united in prayer with our founder and his family who continued to be before Our Lady for Her apparitions each evening. Each evening, at the founder’s request, Marija would ask Our Lady to bless our community who were gathered in prayer in the Bedroom, which Our Lady did throughout the week. It was a beautiful grace to welcome Our Lady back with us the night of July 18, when She returned to the Bedroom for a few more days. We continued to go to the Field each evening and invite different pilgrims to come to the Bedroom for the apparition—always such a joyful surprise for them.
The father and mother of Caritas’ founder, also known as A Friend of Medjugorje, were present in the apparition of July 18, heads bowed in deep love and reverence to Our Lady. Marija is wearing a white shirt, her head tilted upward. Married more than 50 years, the parents of the founder gave an uncompromising witness of faithfulness to their children of the Catholic faith in the home they established. This laid a strong foundation that Our Lady could build upon. She chose A Friend of Medjugorje, the second son of this marriage, to participate in a plan to spread what She was doing in Medjugorje through his personal witness of living Her messages. On December 13, 1988, during Marija’s first visit to his home, Our Lady asked him, through Marija, to start a community that would foundation itself in the living of Her messages. Twenty five years later, the mission and community of Caritas is thriving in its life and work through establishing “a way of life” based in Our Lady’s messages, following the witness of their founder whom Our Lady called to this way of life.

All i can say is wow wow wow on the storm prayer it is very powerful to say i can testify to three miracles praying this prayer with my Daughter on our knees three separate times where we thought we were going to be hit by tornadoes and there was a complete calmness over our house with in minutes of the storms! It is a very special Prayer Thank you Almighty God! The power of PRAYER ! Thank you CARITAS GOD Bless You.
We also are undergoing several storms and battles and for sure the enemy is behind them. It will be too long to tell here but several attacks of different kind have been taking place over our house and also in the form of rumors in the neighborhood. Peace is apparently reigning at the moment but a lot of people wants war. Wonder why so much hatred in the hearts of people. I assume that sending hundreds of e-mails with Our Lady´s messages and a lot of prayer are doing something good and fire is being aimed to us. GOOD ! HALLELUJAH!!!
Our Lady sees us and knows our hearts. I can’t express how much Her message meant to me today. I couldn’t sleep last night. Too many things pouring from my heart. And, I need to say…that several of the thoughts that came to me…you addressed in this podcast. Everything for Her intentions, Her plans, Her projects! Praying for God’s plan of salvation for me and through me! St. Michael, the Arch Angel…pray for us.! I’ve been thinking lately of how St. Michael instructed St. Joan of Arch…how much more we need him now! I feel in my heart, God has not only sent us His Mother, but may also be guiding those defending Truth, Justice, Goodness and Holiness…by St. Michael’s direction in this spiritual war! I plead everyone, pray against the demonic attack scheduled for Good Friday! Pray for Medjugorje, pray for the visionaries, pray for the messages, pray for Caritas…pray all attacks of the unHOLY be turned for the GLORY of GOD!!!
