Break Free from the Tyranny of Un-Involvement

I originally started Our Lady’s Prayer Groups (OLPG) as a ministry within Caritas of Birmingham back in April 1990. It grew rapidly and at its height, we had accrued more than 3200 prayer groups who were registered with Caritas, united in their purpose of giving Our Lady the prayers and sacrifices needed for Her intentions.
So powerful were the united prayers of thousands of prayer groups praying for Our Lady’s intentions that satan could not allow it to continue. he began working to undermine the prayer groups through jealousies, dissensions, distractions, running after every new “alleged” apparition rather than staying true to their foundation in Medjugorje, being influenced by naysayers claiming Medjugorje was condemned, and many other strategies that tried and tested the faithfulness of the prayer groups.
Few weathered these storms, but those that did, and some still exist to this day, became powerful in their witness, faithfulness and prayers. But Our Lady never tired calling for prayer groups to be formed over the past 44 years. It is time to reboot Our Lady’s Prayer Groups (OLPG) because Our Lady is asking this of everyone again in Her most recent messages.

Our Lady says this is a time of grace. I believe prayer groups based on the ones Our Lady started in Medjugorje are given special graces. Many years ago, my four-year-old son said something profound to me. He said, “Every prayer makes the world different.” That led me to ponder that even one Glory Be reverently prayed has the power to change the world for the better. It brings a little more good into the world and drives a little more evil away.
Can anyone deny that the evil of Communism back in the 1980’s and 1990s was driven away through prayer and that Medjugorje played a major part in this? Think about the great marvels that happened in that time. The problem was that we did not realize back then that Communism had spread throughout the whole world.
All the crises mankind faces today is due to the antichrist ideologies that Our Lady warned about from Fatima. Can we believe and accept that what Our Lady did to defeat evil in the 1990’s, She is waiting to do in the United States, and thereby, the rest of the world today?
In fact, what She did to bring down Communism and the Iron Curtain was just a trial run for what She is aiming for today. But there is not enough prayer for Her to accomplish Her plans. If all those who follow Our Lady would seriously answer Her call to “create” prayer groups, what would the power of this kind of prayer do for the United States through Our Lady’s hands? I believe this is what Our Lady is now calling for in Her recent messages:

And just days ago, Our Lady said:

“…there are many creatures who do not have peace and have not come to know the God of love. Therefore, little children, pray and love, create prayer groups to encourage each other to the good ….”
My original vision for Our Lady’s Prayer Groups (OLPG) was to help individuals start new prayer groups, strengthen existing groups, help keep them focused on Our Lady’s messages, and locate prayer groups for individuals seeking them in their areas. The program was very successful and achieved these goals. OLPG became a united spiritual force for the good to help Our Lady fulfill Her plans for peace around the world.
Is it necessary for you to be in a prayer group? Absolutely! Our Lady said:

“…I would desire that you gather often in communal prayer…”
Prayer groups have always been important in Our Lady’s plans. She called for them at the beginning of Her apparitions in Medjugorje when She began forming the visionaries and the villagers in the spiritual life. When Medjugorje became known around the world, Our Lady continued to speak about prayer groups, inviting all Her children around the world to join a prayer group.

“…Renew prayer in your families and form prayer groups. In this way, you will experience joy in prayer and togetherness. All those who pray and are members of prayer groups are open to God’s will in their hearts and joyfully witness God’s love…”

“…I desire to thank you for making my plan realizable. Each of you is important, therefore, little children, pray…Prayer groups are powerful and through them I can see, little children, that the Holy Spirit is at work in the world…”
Living your conversion is very difficult in this society. A prayer group offers the first step towards building community which I realized early on, is one of Our Lady’s major plans. You are helped by the support of others who hunger to change their lives as you do.

For many, the prayer groups have become a refuge, a sacred time, a place where they can renew themselves and be away from the ills of the world. During this time in prayer, many can see more clearly what is right and what is wrong.
I wrote back in 1990 that prayer groups are going to become more and more important. In fact, one of the fruits of Medjugorje is the formation of prayer groups all over the world. Those who are in prayer groups will agree it is a major source of help to advance spiritually and live the messages of Our Lady, not just individually but collectively.
We are still in the battle over the Soul of America. We will not receive a decisive victory unless we do as we are asked by Our Lady and She is making it clear what She is in need of.
She needs prayer groups.
Our Lady always gives simple solutions, while man always looks for complicated solutions to solve his problems.
Our Lady said in Fatima that to avoid WWII, we simply needed to Consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
When Our Lady told us that satan had been unchained on January 1, 2001, Her advice to protect ourselves from satan was to simply consecrate ourselves to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary every day.
Today, with all that is assailing us, our families, our nations and the world, Our Lady simply tells us to join or start a prayer group. This is our protection. This will lead to Her victory.
It is time to reboot OLPG, Our Lady’s Prayer Groups.
We are providing the infrastructure for individuals to join together to form prayer groups in your areas. What has caused this to fail in the past is that most people want to join an already formed group rather than start one themselves. If you are thinking that way, you are missing Our Lady’s call.
Over the past two years, Our Lady didn’t say “join” a prayer group, She said “create” a prayer group.

There is a spiritual revival going on in our nation, the USA, but these new sheep are in need of shepherds to gather them under Our Lady’s mantle. Our Lady is expecting you to show them the way to Her Heart. What is stopping you?
There is such a thing called “the tyranny of un-involvement.” In a religious or moral sense, the “tyranny of un-involvement” is a failure to respond to a call: neglecting prayer, refusing to stand for truth, or not caring for one’s neighbor. It is what John wrote about in the biblical warning in Revelation about “lukewarmness” (Revelation 3:16: “Because you are lukewarm… I will spit you out of my mouth”).
A community erodes when its members disengage. If most people avoid responsibility—whether in families, parishes, civic groups, or schools—leadership and culture are left to a small few who may not act in the common good. Or to be sure, satan would rather lead the sheep to “a good” in order to make them miss “the best,” which is to come to know the Queen of Peace and the powerful graces of conversion that She is dispensing through Medjugorje.
Our Lady wants to move you out of your comfort zone and into the culture to “form and make prayer groups,”—YOU!, not someone else. Make the decision to put your name on the map as one who is ready for others to join you, to begin praying for Our Lady’s intentions.
She gave us the answer of what will bring healing to the United States of America. She said in the Field of Apparitions on July 3, 2012, at the moment when thousands of people who were gathered from across America, prayed the Prayer to Consecrate the United States to Her Immaculate Heart in Her presence:
“Form and make prayer groups through which we will pray for your healing and the healing of this nation to draw closer to God and to Me.”
This is the answer. This is the solution. Our Lady is just waiting for us to respond. Our Lady said:

“…You will not have peace through the presidents but through prayer.”
This is true.But if a president aligns himself to the plans of God, then peace can come through his actions. President Donald J. Trump just aligned himself to the plans of Our Lady when on July 3, 2025, on the 13th anniversary of Our Lady’s message in the Field of Apparitions, he asked the American people, in preparation for the 250th Birthday of our country that will take place on July 4, 2026 to FORM AND MAKE PRAYER GROUPS!!! These are his exact words and what he is asking for:
FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA:
“As we prepare to celebrate two and a half centuries of freedom, I am inviting America’s great religious communities to pray for our nation and for our people. From the beginning, this has always been a country sustained and strengthened by prayer. So important, if we bring religion back stronger, you’re going to see everything get better and better and better. You are going to see it get better and better. So, as we chart our course for the next 250 years, let us rededicate ourselves to one nation under God.”

The Ask: What if one million Americans dedicated one hour a week to praying for our country and our people?
The Invitation: Will you join with at least 10 people to meet each week for one hour to pray for America?
The Opportunity: As we celebrate 250 years of freedom, this is an opportunity to rededicate ourselves to the principles that gave birth to this land of liberty. As George Washington famously said in his Farewell Address, “Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens.”
This dedicated time of prayer is not only for our nation, but for its people because a nation is only as strong as its citizens.

END OF STATEMENT FROM THE WHITE HOUSE
I did not know Trump had started this prayer initiative for the 250th birthday of America. I knew only Our Lady’s words and Her continued call for prayer groups to be created. Yet what a confirmation of Her words. When Our Lady said on December 31, 1985:
“…You will not have peace through the presidents but through prayer.”
The message began with these words:
“Next year is the year of peace; not because men have named it so, but because God has programmed it…”
Could this message have been prophetic? It was given on the eve of the year 1986, forty years ago. Next year is 2026, leading to July 4, 2026, the 250th anniversary of the birth of America. Could it be the Year of Peace?
Consider the following:
July 4, 1982 | Our Lady births the first prayer group in Medjugorje through the visionaries
July 4, 1986 | I was providentially chosen and invited into the apparition room in Medjugorje out of thousands present. It was in this apparition that I made a formal consecration of my life to Our Lady. It was in this apparition that Our Lady profoundly touched me and ignited a fire in me to ask Her intercession in blessing and leading our nation back to God (which I did formally on October 6, 1986 and which She responded affirmatively in a message given through Marija). This moment was the catalyst that sparked a collaboration between Our Lady and this mission on behalf of the United States.
July 3, 2012 | Exactly 30 years from the beginning of the first prayer group in Medjugorje, July 4, 1982, Our Lady gave the “Form and make prayer groups” message in the Field of Apparitions. Our Lady had come to Caritas of Birmingham on July 4th in 2008 and 2009, for the Consecration of the United States and accepted these consecrations according to Marija, but it was not until the third time, in 2012, that Our Lady actually gave words to define what was necessary for the healing of the nation. Why did She wait until then? Could it be that She wanted to show a direct lineage of Her actions on each of these July 4ths?
July 4, 2013 | After years of petitioning the man who owned the mountain directly behind the Field, he gave me permission to build the Cross on top of Penitentiary Mountain in which it was dedicated to The Soul of America. It was formally given to Our Lady, at the Cross, in an apparition. Marija said that Our Lady accepted the Cross for which it was built, for the Soul of America.
July 4, 2023 | Our Lady returned for yet another Consecration of the United States. On this date, another milestone was made. It was the 50th time Our Lady appeared in the Field of Apparitions and it happened ON JULY 4TH. An apparition for each of the 50 States of the United States! Was Our Lady waiting to hit that number? Because on that same day, in the apparition, Our Lady did something She has never done before. She turned Her body to each of the four directions, blessing in each direction, the North, the South, the East and the West. Marija said Our Lady has never turned Her back towards her. Our Lady did this because She literally was blessing all four corners of the United States. This was an election year. Donald Trump became the President of the United States again and less than six months into his presidency, asked for prayer groups to unite to pray for the rebirth of the United States of America on its 250th founding in 2026. How can any of this just be by chance? Our Lady has said nothing is by chance.
July 4, 2026 | This nation will celebrate the 250th Anniversary of its founding on July 4, 2026. This date also marks the 40th anniversary of my first apparition with Our Lady in Medjugorje that opened the doors for a collaboration between Our Lady and this mission. Our Lady asked for this collaboration. I believed in Her words.
Our Lady said on January 2, 1989:
“My dear children, for this year I want to tell you, pray! Your Mother loves you. I want to collaborate with you for I need your collaboration. I want you to become, dear children, my announcers and my sons who will bring peace, love, conversion….I want you to be a sign for others. In this new year I want to give you peace; I want to give you love and harmony. Abandon all your problems and all your difficulties to me. Live my messages. Pray, pray!”
And also on October 31, 1988:
“…dear children, I need your prayers, because I have great plans. I want to collaborate with you. I have repeated that many times in my messages. I need you. Because of that, pray, pray with the heart!”
So, the question is put to you again. Are you going to accept the offer of Our Lady to collaborate with you? Will you answer Her need? At each of the junctures above, I initiated a new call for prayer groups.
The first, at the beginning of this mission, helped to bring to birth Our Lady’s mission here and all of the outreaches of this mission for the first 20 years.
In 2012 and 2013, after writing the book They Fired the First Shot 2012, I put out a call to start CSPGs, “Constitutional Small Prayer Groups” that were utilized to help fight the tyranny that was forming in our nation at a local level, through prayer and action. Many prayer groups started with this movement.
In 2016, up until the present time, the call went out from here to form Patriotic Rosary Prayer Groups that Our Lady would have the prayers needed to navigate this nation back to God. Hundreds of thousands of Patriotic Rosaries were being prayed for God to protect our elections.
Now, we are in the final battle, and I am returning to what built this mission from the beginning: helping to form prayer groups in answering Our Lady’s call.
We will be strongly encouraging the formation of prayer groups over the course of the next several months in order to build the momentum of prayer that Our Lady is in need of RIGHT NOW.
Make the decision to start a prayer group. The more people who will commit to this and inform Caritas so that we can connect those who are also searching, the faster Our Lady’s plans can be fulfilled. I will end with returning to the December 31, 1985, message. Our Lady said:
“Next year is the year of peace; not because men have named it so, but because God has programmed it. You will not have peace through the presidents but through prayer.”
But then Our Lady added this:
“When you hear the bells at midnight, you will fall on your knees, bow your head to the ground so that the King of Peace will come. This year I will offer my peace to the world. But afterwards, I will ask you where you were when I offered you my peace.”
This nation will have no excuse if we refuse the invitation to “create” prayer groups in order to pray for the healing of our nation. An invitation that has been issued not only from the Highest realm of Heaven, but also from the highest realm on earth in the secular world, the President of the United States of America—aligned together in this one most important call to pray. You know the verse:
“If My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
It is up to all of us, now, to complete the alignment.
This famous painting of George Washington crossing the Delaware River, Christmas night 1776, is an analogy of what Our Lady is doing today in Medjugorje, in that Her goal is total victory. The Revolutionary War still went on for several more years after Washington crossed the river, but, because he won a major victory doing this, it boosted the morale to the colonists fighting for their independence. Though there are hardships today, just as there was back in 1776, we live in a moment when one must do more than they are capable of. Instead, one must do what is necessary. This re-launching of Our Lady’s Prayer Groups, is our moment to “cross the Delaware river”, and help Our Lady win total victory. – Friend of Medjugorje

We started Our Lady’s Prayer group in 1990. Members have died, moved over the years,some are now homebound.we keep in touch via group texts praying for various intentions and sharing spiritual info.
I’m now 86, basically homebound.
I pray all the younger followers of Our Lady find the comfort, and peace praying together with Our Lady for all of Her intentions and having friendships for life,

So Our Lady’s requests remain unfulfilled and consequently the world does not yet enjoy the peace She promised.

The Constitutional Republic of the United States of America cannot survive without a strong moral and religious code of “One Nation Under God”. Let us all make this a top priority. I will be getting started tomorrow to see if I can form a prayer group at my church to be up, ready and strong when our Nation turns 250 years old. Briefly, we in our group would daily pray in the morning b4 going out & would have prayer intentions, almost every1 would share 1 for the day. I rarely spoke beyond a prayer intention; but then 1 morning i said, Let us pray for Our Lady’s intentions. I got a few mns to speak with the group after 1 pilgrim had said how much she had been enriched to pray together with our group; i said, Yes, we are to be in pray groups, or statr them,
continuing this back where each live. [That was about Oct. 20, 2025; we returned from Medj. Oct. 22.]
Then, most importantly, Our Lady said in Her most recent message of Oct. 25,2025 to form or be active in a prayer group. (Just as you have given Her message for the world, & re-iterated messages from previous times re. the same directive from Our Lady from Heaven! )
