For all the thousands of followers out there, throughout the world, has this been your daily prayer? Have you prayed that Our Lady would manifest the “new life” for everyone?
(Medjugorje photo taken on Wednesday, October 4, 2006, 6:46 PM) – A St. James Church in Medjugorje, lit up at night time for the thousands of pilgrims which normally will be there. This year, the June 25, anniversary will be a little more subdued, with most of the world still not able to travel to Medjugorje. Perhaps, this is a good “reset” for the coming year, as we head towards the 40th year, 367 days from now.
Being honest, have you prayed for a new life as Our Lady has asked? Does it matter if one prays about a new life? We will share a short explanation from a Friend of Medjugorje about what is taking place in our world, written 8 years ago, though it was not necessarily evident at the time, and then you can decide whether it matters or not:
The reality that we live today is that society is breaking apart. The sacred and the secular are in agreement with this. The truly sacred see that only God, and our return to Him, can bring healing to the world to fix it. The secularists see Christians as the culprits and the cause of society’s fall. Getting rid of Christianity, the secularists see, is the fix for society. As society tumbles apart, denying the Sovereign power of Jesus Christ to bring healing and peace, in this void another religion will rise up with strength. Secularism is a religion that is strong when religion stands aside and lets it be. Yet, in reality, secularism is so weak, it cannot compete with a strong religion lived with conviction.

Think about this statement that was written 8 years ago. Who could have said that this is what would happen? We understand now that a Friend of Medjugorje’s words, were a prophetic statement. Now, in 2020, it is easy to understand that we need this “new life”, because the two sides, Christian and secular, which a Friend of Medjugorje wrote about in 2012, are literally in a clash. If we fail to become a convicting people, we learn that we will be ruled by secularists, who will blame us/you for the problems in the world. Is this what you want? When the church is so weak that it is an embarassment, that is when one must become the strong church themselves, by the way they live. And, as a Friend of Medjugorje wrote, secularism cannot compete with that. It’s the Corona Vision, which he wrote about, another prophetic writing that is in need of being implemented. You, we, everyone needs the new life Our Lady is wanting for us. Everyone needs the Corona Vision. Start praying.
