Marija Receives Our Lady’s August 25th Message
Medjugorje visionary, Marija, kneels before Our Lady in the apparition, the evening of August 25, 2010. It is the day for the monthly message and Marija is here receiving Our Lady’s words on behalf of the entire world. In this message, Our Lady used a word She never used before. It took some time to translate it, because there was not a one word exchange in other languages. What best described the word was the phrase, “in a recollected way.” Here in the Chapel of the Two Hearts, Marija’s husband Paolo kneels behind her with their four boys, Michele, Francesco, Marco, and Giovanni. At birth, all four of their boys were given the name, Maria, as their middle name to show, in a particular way, their consecration to Our Lady.
Once the message is given to Marija and the apparition ends, Marija leaves the Chapel and enters the sacristy to write the message down. She must pray with concentration and in silence during this process to accurately write down Our Lady’s words each month. She then re-enters the chapel and for the first time, speaks the message to the small gathering of family, friends and translators. She speaks it first in Croatian and then in Italian. Marija has testified that on the 25th of every month her life can be filled with many difficulties, or some kind of crisis develops. She knows that satan strikes at her because of the message being given to her by Our Lady is destroying his plans. However, on this August 25th, Marija had a peaceful day, a day of “recollection”. It is beautiful to see Our Lady’s words, on this day parallel Marija’s own experience this day.
