Apparition and Message Given through Mirjana on the Day for Nonbelievers
After a quiet week and beautiful weather, the sounds of busses arriving increased as the day of the apparition to Mirjana Soldo neared. On November 1, All Saints Day, groups of all sizes came to the Blue Cross to pray. As early evening came, some had already made the decision to spend the night in anticipation of Our Lady’s November 2, All Souls Day, apparition to Medjugorje visionary Mirjana. A small group of young adults from Zagrab prayed the Rosary in the Croatian language while a Caritas of Birmingham pilgrimage group prayed the Rosary nearby in English. A large Italian group prayed together quietly and gently sang as they faced the Blue Cross. The glow of flashlights and candles increased as pilgrims arrived to pray in the dark at Our Lady’s statue. Small groups continued to arrive as the stars grew brighter; even a few shooting stars crossed the night sky. As midnight came, people coming and going slowed and those staying over night in the chilly fall air covered themselves with blankets and wrapped up in sleeping bags. A young Croatian woman gave a blanket to an American who didn’t have one. An Italian man smiled and helped steady a couple climbing down the rocks to place petitions at Our Lady’s statue. As it got closer to Apparition time, around 6:00 A.M., busses could be heard and large groups of people began to climb and find their spot where they could best be in Our Lady’s presence. Priests and other religious began to gather. Also the sick were guided near whether walking, using a wheelchair, or in a stretcher. Singing and praying increased as the time of Apparition got closer. When Mirjana came everyone stood up as they sang to Our Lady. Mirjana quietly prayed, weeping silently. Upon seeing Our Lady, Mirjana smiled joyfully and then was in deep concentration. Our Lady appeared around 8:53 A.M. and the apparition lasted 6 minutes and 40 seconds. The following is the message Our Lady gave through Mirjana during her apparition:
Our Lady blessed all of us and all the religious articles brought for blessing. But once again Our Lady emphasized the importance of the priestly blessing.

Our Lady today makes a new mounted effort. How many times Our Lady regroups us to start again. We grow numb to Her words. So many words to those of us who are in the present, yet will seem so few words when She will be gone. So few, in the sense of the deep bitterness of regret we will feel to have put so few of Her words into life while She was with us. This is why She said:

Lament, today, that so much was told to us and so little have we done to this point. You cannot do enough for Our Lady in responding. Yet, She wants to extract this from us and says today, again, I am calling you “anew.”
What does “anew” mean in reality? Our world is changing by the natural consequences owed to it, due in payment, for the debt of decades of sin. Jesus has paid the price for salvation. However, we must pay the price of atonement. Those who do not love will pay the most through the loss of peace – the loss of a sane, safe, healthy community (society) to live in. Our Lady is trying to mitigate, even cancel out this great loss that results from the loss of love in man’s heart. A good healthy society, of communities, cannot happen if that society is immersed in sin. A society cannot be separated from that which it is built upon. Depraved, degraded, crime-ridden, with every kind of problem, society’s communities cannot be otherwise separated from what it thrives by, which is the lack of love. A wholesome, safe society and all the communities within it cannot be separated from the love of the Father. Our Lady said:
Our economy’s problems, our political problems, the looming tyranny that is rapidly approaching in which a system already in place will soon exercise its tyrannical power in a frightful way, now has only one solution. A personal relationship with the Father. The lack of respect and wonder and awe of earthly fathers in society’s communities cannot be separated from the lack of a personal relationship with the Heavenly Father. If you have the first condition, you will have the second. To establish this relationship with the Heavenly Father, Our Lady’s wisdom regarding love of neighbor hinges on what Hollywood despises: a father in the home who is respected, honored and looked upon as a reflection of God the Father. Wives/mothers play the most critical, most vital role of forming and framing the image the children have of the husband/father. Even when the children become adults, the mother shapes who the father is to the children according to the respect, wonder and awe that the wife/mother relates and displays by her actions to her children of the husband/father. Women are greatly and gravely in fault for the murder of fatherhood. You object? The Woman, the Mother of God has been trying to show what ‘mother’ is for over three decades. Even today, She stated, “As a mother.” You still object, thinking, “My husband, my children’s father, is far from the image of God the Father.” This is not an excuse, nor are you excused from fault. Did you catch what Our Lady said today? Did you see how respectful Our Lady was today? So many today are upset with their shepherds, upset with many of the shepherds who stand in the pulpit. Did you see how Our Lady compares them to Her Son, She as Mother? Yet, She said, “Pray for your shepherds that they always have love for you…”? There are many imperfections in the shepherds who guide the Church, others who spiritually guide, and shepherds of the home. But do you see how this Mother, the Mother of God, has repeatedly shown respect and love through Her second of the month messages towards all shepherds? Do you not see Our Lady conveying that you are not to look at the lack of perfection of the shepherds, or of the husbands, or of the fathers and that you are not to judge and constantly think you must override, berate, criticize or think you are superior to them. Rather, it is the perfection of the position he holds Our Lady is compelling you to respect. In speaking specifically of the position of the father within the family, a wife must be humble, submissive and yes, in awe and wonder of the father’s position, so that the children will also follow the mother’s example and they themselves become obedient and respectful. The wife and mother is the cure of the world. To the degree the father’s image is formed and framed by the mother, is the degree the children will be formed by this image and have or not have a personal relationship with God the Father. The keys to this relationship with God the Father are being given to women to change the world, by the Woman of Revelation, who has come to reveal that which most all women to varying degrees do not comprehend. Womanhood, wifehood, motherhood has fallen in communities throughout society and men have followed the women. Eve fell through deception and Adam failed through disobedience. He followed the woman instead of following what God told him to do. He listened to his wife and the world got messed, really messed up. God’s order was reversed, and satan entered the family. When Eve began speaking against what God had told Adam, he should not have listened to her. Adam should have listened to God the Father and ignored her. Because he listened to her the roles were reversed. In Genesis, after Adam listened to Eve and fell, God said:

Because. “Because,” God said. You should not have listened to your wife, “because” as man you are to listen to God. Do not misunderstand. A man can listen to his wife but it is he who was given headship over the family. If you have to overrule your wife’s actions because it is in conflict with what God the Father has shown you to guide your wife and family, you do not need Her permission to exercise your authority over her. This authority does not come from the wife/mother’s consent. It comes from God, and when she goes against the authority of the husband, she goes against God. The critical point enters at this junction. If the wife’s reaction to her husband’s decision, “Yes, I will follow and not only follow, I will agree and come in union with what you ask or tell me,” then this becomes the basis of the children’s image being formed of God the Father. The witness and the importance of the reaction of the wife/mother to the husband/father sets the example for the child when life’s circumstances can tempt or cause one to entertain to think God is unfair, or God is unjust, or God is a punishing God, etc. God is perfect, yet many have these thoughts, even to the point of now wondering if there even is a God, much less how could He be a Father? If a woman does not give witness to this Biblical truth, children will not have the value of her witness of God’s existence and that He is truth that is always to be followed. To the degree this is lived or not lived is to the degree of how healthy or how damaged a child’s personal relationship with God the Father will be. Our Lady said:

Many husbands, many fathers cannot change the world unless women/wives/mothers submit to what will change the world, as Our Lady is revealing. Yes, those who have been scarred and damaged by the witness of the mother toward the position of the earthly father can still develop a personal relationship with the Heavenly Father, as that is exactly what Our Lady has come to do. As woman, wife, and mother, She is coming to give not fatherly advice, but motherly, parental advice. Our Lady said:

The above words are clearly, unmistakably slanted towards the woman/wife/mother. Of the word “parental” love, Our Lady shows it must be motherly. Scripture states that love is best displayed by obedience. The wife and mother is the primary witness of obedience, displayed continually in her peaceful reactions to the husband. And yes, Our Lady actually gives a message singularly and separately to mothers for Her special motherly blessing. Our Lady said:

Many may not like these statements. If you feel indignation, you have a problem with God the father that you are in need of healing. It was God the Father who said to all women/wives/mothers:
Genesis 3:16
(Because you have eaten of the fruit) “I will greatly multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children, yet your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.” (Revised Standard Version)
If you are in denial over these words said by God and placed in the Bible, then you must deny Our Lady’s recent words, “…I, as a mother, desire my children to be in a community of one single people where the ‘Word of God is listened to and carried out’…”
The family is the first community. Another translation of the above Scripture verse is available from the New American Bible:
Genesis 3:16
(Because you have eaten of the fruit) “I will intensify the pangs of your childbearing; in pain shall you bring forth children. Yet your urge shall be for your husband, and he shall be your master.”
It was Our Lady who said, “one single people where the Word of God is listened to and carried out.”
Many women, including some foolish men, who lack the conviction to stand up as a man, will reject the above. So be it. But the Word has consequences. Those consequences have manifested in a world going further and further insane. The world’s greatest tragedy is the broken life of family. Broken families are now so numerous across the world that we all can agree we live in a broken world. The Wife/Mother, the Woman of Revelation has come, nay, is sent daily to the world to “hearken” it back to peace through the earthly wife/mother/woman through lifting up with respect, awe and wonder the stately position of the husband/father and what it means to be a man.
There are those who have not made it this far in the writing, having rejected what is stated here. If you are still reading, please realize that it is difficult, in such a short space, to adequately layout in fullness the reasoning behind the points expressed in this writing. Everything expressed above has very solid Scripture, teachings of the Church, examples of the saints, and words of Our Lady behind them that can answer all objections. A woman could think this writing lets the man, husband, father off the hook. No, it shows the woman what to do to put him on the hook. When womanhood, wifehood, motherhood is corrected, man, as he has done since Adam, will follow suit. Woman, becoming dignified, holy, respectful is an indictment against a man convicting him to become the same. A New York taxis cab driver showed how women are the keys to a sane wholesome society. When he was asked by a passenger, “How is it going in New York?” The cabbie responded, “Depends how short the girls skirts are. The shorter the skirts, the worse it becomes. The longer the skirts, the better New York becomes.”

Medjugorje visionary, Mirjana Soldo, arrives at the Blue Cross for this morning’s apparition, November 2, 2013.
Mirjana’s warmth and friendliness reaches to everyone around her as she makes her way to the Blue Cross where she will kneel to receive Our Lady.
Mirjana’s arrival always stirs up the enthusiasm and excitement of the crowds, many of them who had been waiting hours for this moment to come. Suddenly stiff limbs and cold bodies are rejuvenated and joy ripples through the mountainside. People scramble upon rocks and stretch on tip toes to strive to get a glimpse of Mirjana as she walks by. All sing in unison a song to Our Lady. And when Mirjana kneels to pray, the whole crowd becomes one voice, joining their prayer with hers in the moments leading to Our Lady’s apparition.
Mirjana lifts her face in joy to Our Lady. She is here! At the moment Our Lady appeared this morning, November 2, 2013, silence descended upon the mountain almost simultaneously, even among those who could not see the inner circle, who were a distance away from the Blue Cross. It is always such a beautiful silence. Yet, if sound could be given to all the prayers that were rising to Our Lady at that moment, all the longing, all the hope, all the love what would we here? A symphony of prayer.
Medjugorje is often criticized by nonbelievers in the Church because they are incredulous that anyone could believe that God would send Our Lady every day, for so many years and “on a schedule.” A Friend of Medjugorje in a Caritas of Birmingham newsletter from 2007 tells of a psychologist who visited Medjugorje years ago who became convinced in these apparitions exactly because of these reasons. In the newsletter mentioned, an interview with the psychotherapist and Fr. Slavko was included:
Psychotherapist: “I am now convinced that it is truly the Holy Virgin who appears in Medjugorje.”
Fr. Slavko: “For what reasons?”
Psychotherapist: “For three reasons: the first, because She appears in a very punctual way. The second, because She says simple things, and the third, because She appears every day.”
Fr. Slavko: “But it is just these three things which present difficulties to the theologians! Why did these points convince you?”
Psychotherapist: “Because as a psychotherapist I regularly see in people the anguish and profound problems that today are due to the absence of the mother in the families. Society itself is ill because of this absence. There are divorces. And the mothers prefer to go out to work, they have areas of interest other than their children. Now it is precisely these three points ‘punctuality, simple language, and the daily presence of the mother’ which are the most necessary for the proper development and for the balance of the child. In Medjugorje, it is truly the Mother who comes, because She remains with us. She gives us precisely these three things which we are lacking. It is the way in which She appears that touches me: She heals us from any of the ill effects of absence.”

Mirjana receives Our Lady’s words today, on this Feast of All Souls. Our Lady has come for all souls—all souls of the world. Everyone is Her child and She will not be satisfied until everyone comes to know Her Son, Jesus. A Friend of Medjugorje wrote in 2007:
“… Our Lady’s plans are for all hearts: Jews, Christians, Muslims, non-believers – all to resurrect in the light of Christ. She is planning to triumph in this momentous glorious cause. Her want is to transform all of mankind, a real transformation of the world. And we know Mama got what She wanted at the wedding feast of Cana, and She’s not going to get tired or stop until She gets what She wants now. The real question is who will still be standing with Her? Who will not transform in the “special time of prayer” will be transformed in the time to come, the time of purification of the earth.”

Mirjana closes her eyes and remains in silent prayer after Our Lady ascends back to Heaven. Past words from A Friend of Medjugorje help us to reflect upon Our Lady’s words today, especially in light of the Feast of All Souls Day. He wrote these words in February 2001, just after the close of a special Jubilee year designated by Pope John Paul II. John Paul had asked that the three years, 1997-1999, be set aside for the preparation for the Jubilee year, and that each year dedicated to One Person of the Trinity: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
“Our past sinful lives can rob us of the joy God wants our hearts to be filled with today. Our fear of the future can do the same. Our Lady wants both our “today” and our “future” to be filled with joy and has come to teach us how that can happen in our lives. We must follow and listen to Her, believe in Her words, obey them and wait for them to transform our lives.
“This past December 24th, Christmas Eve in Rome, during Midnight Mass, the Holy Father asked us to reflect upon this past Jubilee year, and the “today” that this Jubilee has brought the Church. Upon reading his words, it is amazing to see how close in spirit they are to Our Lady’s words. He stated:” (below is part of the Holy Father’s statement referred to)
“The ways of holiness are many, according to the vocation of each individual. I thank the Lord that in these years he has enabled me to beatify and canonize a large number of Christians, and among them many lay people who attained holiness in the most ordinary circumstances of life. The time has come to re-propose wholeheartedly to everyone this high standard of ordinary Christian living, the whole life of the Christian community and of Christian families must lead in this direction. It is also clear however that the paths of holiness are personal and call for a genuine “training in holiness”, adapted to people’s needs. This training must integrate the resources offered to everyone with both the traditional forms of individual and group assistance, as well as the more recent forms of support offered in associations and movements recognized by the church.”
“What is Medjugorje except the call of Our Lady to live this “high standard of ordinary Christian living,” through Her messages, that many refer to as the “school of holiness.” We read the Holy Father’s words with great awe and excitement as the experience of Medjugorje so parallels the strong exhortations of the Holy Father for the church “today”.

One last smile from Mirjana before she leaves the crowds and can enter into silence once more to reflect upon Our Lady’s words for herself and the memory of this last apparition in Her presence. Something we all should find the time to do today—and everyday.
Thousands of pilgrims flood out into the street below the Blue Cross after the apparition of Our Lady to Mirjana today. Looking at the picture, they are just faces in a crowd. But not so to the Heavenly Father, as Our Lady said today and has been saying throughout Her messages all these years. What does that mean to you, “individually”?

A Friend of Medjugorje wrote in April, 1999:
“Have you let the apparitions become routine? Have you lost the sensitivity to Our Lady’s words? If so, we implore you to shake yourselves and wake-up to what is taking place in this little village. The plan of Our Lady slowly evolves, day in and day out, sun up and sun down, with or without your participation. It is only when She is gone that we will understand the great impact our involvement made in regard to our own future as well as the world’s. If our involvement was little, great will be our lamentation. But what grace will be ours when the rest of the world is in grief, knowing we have already placed Our Lady’s messages in the very fabric of our lives?; that they have become life for us, our treasure, our consolation.”

truly I do believe that each message our blessed mother conveys on the second of each month and on the twenty fifth of each month pertains to both believers and non-belivers. they are beautiful messages spoken with a mothers love. to the eyes and ears a delight and wonderment from heaven itself. praise be Jesus forever. praised be our Blessed Mother.
