We began this year with Breakout 2019: Green Light Medjugorje. A Friend of Medjugorje challenged everyone to not be silent about Medjugorje, wherever they were. Throughout the whole year, people, wherever they were, were “breaking out” with Medjugorje. Halfway through the year, the Vatican authorized official pilgrimages to Medjugorje, which was another Breakout.
A few days ago, a man called Caritas to order a large quantity of Nine Days Before Christmas Novenas. This was part of other batches of novenas he had been ordering. The man shared with us that he had a desire to give a copy of the Novena to each family in his parish. He approached his parish priest with the idea and was excited when his pastor not only gave his blessing, but said he would speak about the Novena from the pulpit, and encourage each individual and family to pray this together as a parish in preparation for Christmas.
Even if the priest had not given his blessing, no one can stop you from spreading Medjugorje. Spread this in your parish, at work, at schools, everywhere. This novena is a perfect way to convert your parish, introduce others to Our Lady, and begin building a group of like-minded people with whom you can eventually form a prayer group.
