Medjugorje Annual Apparitions: 2001 – Medjugorje Messages

March 18, 2001 – Mirjana’s Annual Apparition

The following is Our Lady’s annual apparition to Mirjana Soldo on March 18, 2001. Our Lady appeared at 9:43 a.m. The apparition lasted 3 minutes and 55 seconds. Our Lady blessed everyone and gavemessage. She was clear and resolute in the words She gave.

“Dear children! Today I call you to love and mercy. Give love to each other as your Father gives it to you. Be merciful (Our Lady paused at this point and then added) with the heart. Do good works, not permitting them to wait for you too long. Every mercy that comes from the heart brings you closer to my Son.”

Mirjana said that when Our Lady paused, She did that to emphasis the words She would speak next, “with the heart.” A few of our community members were right in front of Mirjana, less than twenty feet, and could see clearly her face throughout the apparition. They relayed that Mirjana’s emotions ranged from looking very serious, wincing her eyes, tears falling down her cheeks, leaning forward two to three times during the apparition to clear look of joy or somewhat satisfied, which did not happen until the very end of the apparition. Our Lady seemed to be speaking lot to Mirjana because Mirjana nodded several times during the apparition. Mirjana seemed very intense. At different times during the apparition, she seemed to have difficult time catching her breath.

June 25, 2001 – Ivanka’s Annual Apparition

At her last daily apparition on May 7, 1985, Our Lady told Ivanka that She would have an apparition onceyear on the anniversary of the apparitions. It was that way also this year. Ivanka had the apparition in the presence of her family. She says that Our Lady was joyful and that She spoke to her about the future of the Church. Our Lady gave the following message:

“Dear angels! Thank you for your prayers, because through them my plan is being realized. This is why, angels, pray, pray, pray, so that my plan may be realized. Receive my motherly blessing.”

December 25, 2001 – Jakov’s Annual Apparition

 At the last daily apparition to Jakov Colo on September 12, 1998, Our Lady told him that from now on, he would have one apparitionyear, every December 25th, on Christmas Day. This is also how it was this year. The apparition began at 3:30 p.m. and lasted five minutes. Our Lady gave the following message:

“Dear children, today when Jesus is born anew for you, inspecial way, I want to call you to conversion. Pray, pray, pray for the conversion of your heart, so that Jesus may be born in you all and may dwell in you and come to reign over your entire being. Thank you for having responded to my call.”
