The Apparitions of December 10 – 15, 2001

 

Our Lady again came back with Her apparitions to Marija, visionary of Medjugorje. Marija came to be with the founder and his family at Caritas during their annual Five Days of Prayer for the Reconciling of Ourselves, Our Families, and Our Nation back to God. All those who participated had beautiful days with Our Lady. Marija described Our Lady as being very happy and joyful during Her apparitions. The following is a description of the apparitions of Our Lady and Our Lady’s messages given during these days.

December 10, 2001

Marija arrived on Monday evening, December 10th. She had already had her regular apparition on the plane flying over from Italy, but she surprised the founder by saying Our Lady would appear a second time that evening for an apparition in the Bedroom. His family and the Community were delighted and overjoyed knowing Our Lady would appear a second time in the same day. They gathered in the Bedroom and began to pray. Suddenly, at 8:00 p.m., Our Lady appeared to Marija. She came happy and joyful. Marija recommended each one present and all their intentions to Our Lady. Our Lady began to pray over all, continuing to do so for a long time. Marija said that Our Lady lovingly looked at each and every face in the room. She blessed them and then ascended back up into Heaven. Our Lady told Marija that She would appear the next day at 5:40 p.m.

December 11, 2001

The following is Marija’s description of what took place during the apparition on December 11, 2001, at 5:40 p.m.:

 

“At the moment of the apparition, when Our Lady appeared, I recommended each and every one of you, and all the intentions you have carried in your heart. In a special way I recommended all the sick. And Our Lady, when She came, She put Her arms out, extended them over the crowd, and prayed for a long time over all of us. And then Marija asked Our Lady to bless all the objects that we brought with us to be blessed. And Our Lady again extended Her hand and made the Sign of the Cross above us all and above our objects. And then She said, ‘Go in peace.’ And in this way She left.”

During the apparition, Marija asked Our Lady to bless 50,000 containers of salt in the print shop of the Tabernacle of Our Lady’s Messages. This was a special project the Founder had worked on for several months. Marija relayed that during the apparition, Our Lady extended, for a second time, a blessing especially for this. When Marija was asked before the group if Our Lady blessed the salt, she said emphatically, “There can be no question.”

December 12, 2001

The following is Marija’s description of the apparition of December 12, 2001, in the Field:

“When Our Lady came tonight, I recommended all those present here and all of our intentions that we have in our hearts. And Our Lady began to pray over us, but She didn’t pray a long time. Today is the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe. I don’t know why Our Lady only stayed for a short time, maybe She had to get back to the feast in Mexico or maybe because it is raining. Anyway, Our Lady blessed us tonight. And She looked at each and every one of us and was happy. And She said:

‘Go in peace. We will see each other tomorrow, at the same time, at the same place.’”

December 13, 2001

The following is Marija’s explanation of what took place during her apparition on December 13, 2001, during the Christmas in the Field celebration:

“At the moment of apparition, when Our Lady appeared, I recommended each and every one of us and all of our intentions. And Our Lady extended Her hands over us, and She prayed over us for a long time. Then I asked Our Lady to bless us and all the objects that we brought with us. Our Lady blessed us and blessed the objects. And then Our Lady remained a little time with us, and I asked Her if She had something to say to us. And after I asked Her this question, Our Lady smiled and She said:

‘Do not forget that I am your Mother, and I love you.’

“Then Our Lady made the Sign of the Cross and left.”

December 14, 2001

The following is Marija’s description of the apparition of December 14, 2001 in the Field:

“When Our Lady appeared today, I prayed for each of you and asked Our Lady to bless us and to hear our intentions. In a special way, I prayed for all the sick. Our Lady extended Her hands over the crowds, and She prayed a long time over us. Then I asked Our Lady if She had something to tell us. Our Lady smiled and said:

‘Live my messages.’

 

“And then She blessed us, and She left saying, ‘Go in peace.’ And She left with a smile on Her lips.”

December 15, 2001

Marija left on this day to go back to Italy to her family. The founder of Caritas asked Our Lady through Marija during her apparition on December 14th, if She would appear early on Saturday so that the Community could be present for one more apparition and receive Her blessing once more. Our Lady said, “Yes.” The Community began to gather in the Bedroom at 6:30 a.m. Our Lady appeared to Marija at precisely 8:00 a.m. The following is Marija’s description of this apparition on Saturday, December 15, 2001:

 

“When Our Lady came, I recommended each of us and all our intentions in our hearts. Our Lady prayed over us for a long time. I presented a private question to Our Lady. Immediately upon asking the question, Our Lady smiled and gave a private answer. Our Lady looked at each of us and then blessed us. She ascended back to Heaven, saying, ‘Go in peace.’ Our Lady was very happy and joyful during this apparition.”

The private question from the founder was related to something that Our Lady had spoken to him about fourteen years before through Marija. Through the years he had asked Our Lady on several occasions, never receiving an affirmative message. He, along with the Community, was very happy that in this apparition Our Lady gave light of an affirmation to him. [see Appendix to American Messages]
