In Our Lady’s January 25, 2017 message through Marija, Our Lady said that satan wants:
But what happens when we may no longer have feelings towards God? How can we return?
A pilgrim pouring out their heart on Cross Mountain. Our Lady leads many hearts to God through this Cross.
We know that satan wants to take us away from God. The closer we get to God, the farther we will be from satan. Some may think that the visionaries have it easier because they see Our Lady. However, Medjugorje visionary Ivanka said:
“…To see Our Lady, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, with the eyes is something really beautiful, but to only see Her with your physical eyes and not to feel Her with your heart – from that you have nothing. That is why I stand here in front of you this morning, to tell you my prayer has the same strength as yours. My closeness to God is the same as your closeness to Him. The only thing that depends upon us is how much we want to open ourselves to God…”1
In these days, our prayer to God should be an opening of the heart. It does not depend on our neighbor, it depends on us. We understand that some have difficulty talking to God, for whatever reason. Recently someone wrote to us feeling like God cannot forgive them, etc. A Friend of Medjugorje responded:
“…If you cannot find yourself to be close to God, then at least get closer to Our Lady. She will be your safe harbor, your protection. At least love Her then, and least be near to Her then. She will take care this whole situation. You cannot drive Her away, you cannot make Her not love you, you cannot do anything that She will not forgive. Be in peace, and be with Our Lady…”
Open to God, open to Our Lady, and receive all feelings towards God. God Bless!
