After three years, Our Lady is still standing tall, a sign to all who pass about the new Spirit of God moving in our Nation.

In 2017, a Friend of Medjugorje launched the Winds of Change billboards, which was a call to look at the signs of the time, and see how the spirit of God was moving and changing our Nation and world. Over 290 billboards went up across the United States. We closed the billboard campaign in 2019. Needless to say, when some Caritas Community members were passing through Rapid City, South Dakota, a few days ago, it was a pleasant surprise to see Our Lady still standing off of Interstate 90. She is a little faded, but Her message is clear to all who pass to ask for a new Spirit of God to dwell in our land.
About 15 years ago, a Friend of Medjugorje instituted a prayer in the Caritas Community, which was based on a message Our Lady gave on April 15, 1985:
“…Work and change your hearts so that the new spirit of God can dwell there.”
For years, we prayed this prayer in our Community, asking for a “new spirit of God to dwell in our hearts.” It was a daily prayer. Seeing Our Lady’s billboard, was a reminder and an invitation which we extend to everyone to pray this prayer, so that a new spirit of God come to dwell in our hearts, in our families, in our nation, in our Church, in our world. Make it a part of your daily prayer, in every situation.
Mary, we pray for a new spirit of God to dwell in our hearts.

On 10/14/1990 I experienced a metanoia conversion at a Fr D’Orio healing service. My life was a mess. Christ became real immediately. In the spring of 1991 I saw a billboard in Albany NY with our Ladys msg to call a phone nbr to get a msg. I became overwhelmed with a need to travel half way around the world to go to a place called Medjugorje. I had never been further than Florida. I was 49 yrs old. I had little money. In March or early April at a FGBMFI breakfast the man next to me said he was going there. As Mary would have it I received a phone call. I was able to go in May 1991 before the war. I received Peace beyond all understanding. I was in a divorce process. My wife converted to Catholicism, we reconciled and remarried in the church and we made our own 2 person trip to Medjugorje in 1995. We are now in our 38th yr. I have the honor of serving our Lady as a Field Angel for almost 30 years. All thanks to a billboard in the right spot at the right time.
