A Time of Witnessing

A Time of Witnessing

A few updates from the Five Days of Prayer at Caritas

December 10, 2015 A.D.

Our Lady of Medjugorje said on September 25, 2011:

“…You, who live in the love of God and have experienced His gifts, witness them with your words and life that they may be for the joy and encouragement to others in faith…”

Those who attend the Five Days of Prayer at Caritas, December 8-12, leave with a renewal of their hearts, encouraged in their walk of conversion, with the joy of knowing that others are walking the same path.

The Chaplet of Divine Mercy, following the re-dedication of the
Tabernacle of Our Lady’s Messages, on December 8.

The infants, like Baby John being held, and the other young children of the Community, are always allowed to mingle amongst the adults in prayer. They are never a disruption to prayer, even in the midst of such a serious prayer as this re-dedication. Their play is their prayer, and perhaps, more pleasing to God than our adult prayer. Prayer is a common way of life for them, even large events like this Five Days of Prayer. This is what Our Lady desires to build in the world, a place where prayer is common and where miracles are everyday. As a Friend of Medjugorje has said before about his decision to make changes in his family:

“I felt God ask me in my heart years ago, ‘Do you want to leave your children money, or a way to live?’ I answered that I wanted to give them a way to live by.”

Are you planning on leaving your children money, or a way to live by? There is a cost to do this, but the sorrows experienced in doing so, will be outmatched by the joys you will experience.

Climb to the Grotto La Pluie, December 9, 2015

Our Lady said recently on December 2, 2015:

“…you, my children, you need me, you are seeking me, you are coming to me, and you are bringing joy to my motherly heart…”

What will you do for Our Lady? How will you seek Her?

The climb to the Grotto La Pluie, in the mountain behind Caritas, is difficult. But, this is an act of love for Our Lady. We seek Her, we come to Her. She is filled with joy, and that joy returns to us. As many people have said throughout the years, that the climb to the Grotto is one of the highlights of their experience at Caritas. Our Lady returns the joy of Her heart to those who bring Her joy.
