For over 25 years, A Friend of Medjugorje has led and formed the BVM Caritas Medjugorje Pilgrimage groups to be what is known as the most spiritual pilgrimages. A Friend of Medjugorje will be present during the June 20-29 pilgrimage to Medjugorje with Caritas, and will be giving talks throughout the pilgrimage. For over 25 years, it is still our policy that for anyone who wants to make it to the top, we’ll make sure you get there. On Caritas groups, we have carried people in wheelchairs to the Cross. A Friend of Medjugorje through the formation of the pilgrimages has always said that it is through the difficulty of the climb that Our Lady can work in your heart. Many times we see that often pilgrims are placed in the position of having to forget themselves and help someone else. It makes for them an incredible lifetime experience. And why not? Our Lady Herself said on November 29, 1984:
“…Be conscious, my beloved, that I am your Mother and I have come on earth to teach you how to listen out of love, to pray out of love and not compelled by the fact that you are carrying a cross. By means of the cross, God is glorified through every person…“
